1. List some facts you have learned about polar bears.

- Female polar bears endure extreme pregnancy conditions, digging maternity dens in snow and
remaining there for six months before and after cub birth, resulting in depletion of calcium and
calorie reserves.
- The Arctic Circle's extreme temperatures can reach -40°C, making them uniquely adapted due to
their up to 11 centimeters of fat underneath their skin.
- Shi Ping Liu and colleagues’ studies found out that the genetic structure of polar bears allows
them to survive in one of the toughest environments on Earth.
2. Should we protect endangered species such as polar bears? Why or why not?
- Yes. Because polar bear's bone can remodel, it could potentially benefit for bedridden humans
3. What's inside the step pyramid of Djoser?
- It included a temple, courtyards, shrines, and living quarters for the priests.
4. How were the Egyptian pyramids built?
- It had several plans before it became the first Step Pyramid in history, piling six levels on top of
one another. The weight of the enormous mass was a challenge for the builders, who placed the
stones at an inward incline in order to prevent the monument breaking up.
5. Will machines replace humans in the future of work?
- It will but just in some fields
6. What is stoicism? What are stoicism principles? Why is stoicism still relevant today?

- Stoicism is the most practical of all philosophies and therefore the most appealing. A Stoic
“transforms fear into caution, pain into transformation, mistakes into initiation and desire into
undertaking”.
- Stoic principles were based on the idea that its followers could have an unshakable happiness in
this life and the key to achieving this was virtue. The road to virtue, in turn, lay in understanding
that destructive emotions, like anger and jealousy, are under our conscious control – they don’t
have to control us, because we can learn to control them.
- Because it can treat people with depression. Stoic principles also can build the resilience and
state of mind required to overcome setbacks because Stoics teach turning obstacles into
opportunity
