Targets:
Decent work is a concept developed by the International Labour Organization (ILO) that refers to
employment that is productive, fair, secure, and empowering workers and their families. Women,
migrant, young, temporary and racialized workers are most affected by precarious employment.
- Create new and better jobs and stimulate self-employment (demand side)
- Improve the skills and work-readiness of youths and women (supply side)
- Matching supply and demand, by providing employment services.
- Invest in social protection especially for youths and women, skills, innovation, and infrastructure
- Know your rights at work
- Organize a mentoring program
Modern Slavery or Human Trafficking: Modern slavery is the severe exploitation of other people for
personal or commercial gain, such as forced labour, forced and early marriage, sex exploitation, debt
bondage/bonded labour, human trafficking, slavery, etc.
