Transcendence
“Knowledge is a sword of those who have no sword, and knowledge is wealth of
those who have no wealth, and knowledge is beauty of those who have no beauty.” As this
Arabian saying comes forth of my mind and riddle me out if how far does knowledge can
take us, and make me wander if how much knowledge can give us. This saying compromises
many things that could eradicate the biggest contagious disease such as ignorance, that may
enlighten the people of Bangsamoro if only if they knew its essence. And as the Prophet
Muhammad (PBUH) said, “Seek knowledge from cradle ‘til grave” and I second that, as I
consider it obligatory and in order to fully obtain freedom from this world. I have quoted
some of the statement of Dr. Arsalan Diamaoden that “The challenges we faced yesterday
makes us stronger today. Our past is already part of our history.” I instantly remembered a
thousand memories of hardships and tribulations. Same blood drop for one mission, same
body perish for one vision, and same voice croaked screaming for peace in the name of our
religion. I am a learner, one of the fellow evacuees from Marawi Siege, I have witnessed
suffering of my own kind and the havoc that crumbled my dear hometown and make us feel
hopeless.

Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao
Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education
Moro learners are instilled of bravery, gallantry and faith regardless of what they may
face, being huramentados still runs in our blood and we are not easily be discouraged.
Bangsamoro sow for the future to reap and we are still in progress but soon will have the taste
of sweetness. Meling said, “The uniqueness of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in
Muslim Mindanao among the seventeen regions in the country is that it has Madaris
Education or Islamic Education because it is what gives identity to Muslims and if there is no
Islamic and Arabic education, the BARMM region will not be different from the seventeen
regions in the Philippines.” This statement awakened me on how prestigious our education
system, and on how we are exceptional. There is no ending for learning and excuses must be
conquered for we know that brighter days awaits. Bismillah for the beginning, Alhamdulillah
for what is happening, and In sha’ Allah for what will soon to happen. For Allah (SWT) said,
“For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease.” Surah AshSharh 94:5
