How to operate Digital temperature controller cum indicator(DTC)

• These Ovens are suitable to work a maximum of 250°C and continuous working not more than
225°C. This is supplied with temp. Controller cum indicator which shows (S.V.) set value of
your temp and (P.V) process value which is the current running temp

• To set the desired temperature press the set button and use the arrow keys up & down keys.

• The door of the Oven should not be opened and do not disturb the keys of the Digital Controller
until the desired temperature is attained.

• It should attain a temperature of 150 Deg. C. within 70-90 minutes, it may take more time if the
voltage of the main supply is incorrect. The progress in the heating up of the oven can be
observed on the Digital Controller.

CONTROL INDICATOR: It is connected to the temperature controller and shows the working of the
thermostat / digital temp. Controller.

VENTILATION:

Two ventilators are provided on both sides near the top of the oven so that moisture from the inside
chamber can come out. Half of each ventilator should always be kept open when the Oven is in use.

SHELVES:

The Oven is supplied with 2/3 perforated shelves and is so designed that the shelves can be adjusted
accordingly to the requirement to obtain better efficiency in the working chamber. The material for testing
or baking should be kept in such a way that it should not cover more than 75% space inside the Oven.

Working of DTC:
5
For Example: Suppose you have set the operation temp. at 100ºC and the present inside chamber temp. is
28ºC then DTC will indicate the chamber temp. i.e. 28 ºC. The heating indicator will glow to indicate
that heating is “ON”. Slowly as the temp. Inside the chamber will go up, and DTC will indicate
accordingly. When the required set temperature is attained heating will automatically switch off.

You may find one temp. going up than set temp wait to stabilize and the DTC will automatically come
down to the set temp i.e. 100ºC. (Temperature will be indicated by DTC i.e. 100ºC.)

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTION:

• Acidic/flammable material should not be kept inside Oven for Drying.

• The oven should not be filled with a material with more than 75% space inside chamber.
• Any repair job should be done at power off from the power source
• Frequent door opening should be avoided while in operation

NOTE:
• When starting a new Oven, allow the oven to operate for two Hours, or until it has started cycling
normally before you begin using it.
• Slight vapor or smoke may occur in the initial heat-up. This is the dissipation of the protective
coating that has been added to the oven elements.
• Please put your material safely inside and take precautions.
