Modelling of a 6-DOF Robotic Arm in SolidWorks

Make a group with maximum 4 members and inform Lect. Mine Nur MESUT via e-mail
(mnmesut@thk.edu.tr) up to Tuesday, December 12, 2023.
You have to prepare report. All processes must be included and also each member’s position and
responsibilities must be defined in the Project report.
Present all documents in your report.
Soft Copy of All documents (Part Design / Parts and Assembly Drawings, assembly, Motion Study,
Videos and etc.) must be submitted by your group’s USB disk.
Prepare the poster based on the enclosed format.
If internet, books or other sources are used as cheating material, your project will be graded as zero.
Your design must include at least one rack and pinion, one ball screw and one gear mechanism. So,
your manipulator will have at least two prismatic joints. The other joints can be revolute type, in at
least one of them a gear system must be used.
At the end of links a grabber is attached which includes one revolute joint and capable of grabbing
(like hand wrist). The grabber must have multiple interconnected grippers as in the image below and
the grabber must be 360 degree rotatable.

The motion in prismatic joint must be restricted within 0-200 mm. The collisions must be avoided
during possible motions.
Your video must include the successive motion of all joints.
