maximum ot !our •.1 um_hcr~,ot Govt. Senior Secondary Schools us Examination Center in each educational block such that students have easy
access to tilt> Exammat1011 cntrc.
*Second stage: As ~er the: scheme:, lhe candidates shortlisted in the first stage of examination will appear for 2"d stage examination to be
orgamzcd. by SC~ RT. Solan (H.P.) in one of the Govt. Degree Colleges of their respective districts as notified examination
centers. l hc: candidates who are placed in top merit as per district quota in second stage examination will be eligible for the
scholarsh 1p.
Scholarships (Amou.nt ,'\: ~uration):- One hundred ( 100) scholarships will be awarded on the basis of merit in the 2nd Stage SIMMS
Exam111a11on tor 3 YEl\RS (Class VI to Class VIII) as follows:-
!. Scholarship ofR s.-1000/- per month, for 12 months in Class VI
2. Scholarship of Rs.5000/- per month, for 12 months in Class VII
3. Scholarship of Rs.60001- per month, for 12 months in Class VIII
Eligibility criteria:-
• For appraring in the examination: All children studying as regular students in Class V in Government Primary Schools of
Himachal Pradesh in the academic session 2023-24 are eligible to apply for the first stage HP Swaran Jayanti Middle Merit
Scholarshi p Examination (HPSJMMSE) -2023-24 to be conducted by the SCERT, Solan (H.P.) on 25th February, 2024
(Sunday).
• For the award or scholarship: The students who are placed in top merits according to the given district quota in the stage-II
HPSJM MSE ex;1111i11:11ion will be eligible for the award of scholarship provided that:
1. They con1 inue to study in Govt. Schools ofHimachal Pradesh without repeating any class and
ii. They have a mi 11 i111u111 of75% attendance in each academic year of forthcoming classes i.e. Sixth, Seventh & Eighth classes.
Examination Fee: No Examination fee will be charged for the examination.
Important Dates: Dates fo r submission of application form and conduct of examination are given be ow:
Submission or hard copies of Complete Application Forms by Class 8'" December, 2023 to 8th
Teacher/Heild Teacher to the concerned CHT/BEEO January,2024
