The Constitution will be amended to include Article


330A for a 33% female quota in the Lok Sabha and
Article 332A for a quota in state legislatures.
Correction
The new legislation will also introduce three new Articles and one new clause in
the Constitution.

1) New clause in 239AA -For Delhi Women Reservation

2) New Article – 330A - For Lok Sabha Women Reservation

3) New Article – 332A - For Rajya Sabha Women Reservation

4) New Article – 334A - Reservations shall come into effect after delimitation is
undertaken after the relevant figures for the first census have been published. Rotation of
seats for women shall take effect after each subsequent exercise of delimitation.
