New functionalities and products
• Integration of product line SINAMICS G220 with currently released devices
• Integration of product line SINAMICS S120 Chassis (air-/ liquid-cooled) and
Chassis-2 (air- cooled) (ALM, SLM, Motor Module) – available functionality
comparable to S120 Booksize implementation
• Improvement of current calculation for 1FN3 und 1FW6 motors
• Redesign of the selection of power connectors, cables and shield connection plates
for S120 Booksize Motor Modules to avoid wrong and superfluous products in the

Features of the integrated drive dimensioning
Known issues
• For S120 Chassis-2 and S120 Chassis liquid-cooled DC link fuses and pre-
charge contactor are missing
• For S120 Chassis/Chassis-2: IGBT derating and compatibility check for
MASTERDRIVES braking modules is not available
• The current calculation for permanent magnet synchronous motors in the field
weakening range (operation to the right of the voltage limit curve) delivers wrong
results in some special cases. Calculation model will be improved in the future
• 1FK2 with planetary gears - Filtering and sorting currently not according to the
system values
• 1FK2 motor at S120 AC/AC at 230V supply system, the 2CC cable connection
cannot be selected
• There are situations in which options that have already been configured cannot
be retained after changing a selected motor

drive systems for IEC circuits.
• New combination data for frequency converter and drive systems for IEC
circuits.
• Optimized configuration workflow for soft starter combinations for IEC circuits.
• Soft starter configuration for US circuits according to UL508A.
• Minor improvements and bug fixes.

ATTENTION:
Some features are Beta features and not fully tested. They can contain errors. A hint is shown in
the software when you calculate the first device or load feeder combination.

Known issues

• Cable dimensioning for soft starter combinations is not available yet.

• In some cases, the start of EPLAN generation is not successful if one or more
combinations in the main circuit are not fully configured (shows a warning
symbol). In this case try to start the EPLAN generation again.
• Currently there are no soft starter combinations with 3TF contactors available.
• After loading a project which was saved with an older version of TIA Selection
Tool, some load feeders can become invalid and need to be recalculated.
