PROJECTS
1. Diagnostic System Framework Development from scratch for FS1600PRO (Fungible
Storage product)
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Gathered requirements such as diagnostics commands from the diagnostics team.
• Developed the diagnostic framework in Linux using Python (Pytest and Pexpect) and Go
programming language. Using Pexpect and Pytest library to connect to the designated
product stations in Flex Malaysia and diagnose the Fs1600Pro hardware components.
• Performed the diagnostic testing on BaseBoard Management controller, F1 DPUs, Pre-
Shipping Inspection and other components in the product chassis.
• Supported in debugging activities during FS1600Pro chassis bring up.

2. Developed GUI based diagnostic tool for FS800 (Fungible Storage products)
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Developed a User Interface tool using PyGtk for diagnosing FS800 Chassis.
• Developed test automation framework using Python libraries for ssh connection and testing
the hardware components such as BMC, FunOS and performing necessary tests on the same.
• Supported and involved in debugging activities for FS800 diagnostic testing in FLEX Malaysia.

3. Diagnostic Framework Development for FC200 Card (Fungible Accelerator Product)

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Developed the diagnostic framework using Python libraries in Linux environment. Performed
diagnostic testing on S1 DPU, NVMe.
• Programming support during Pre-Shipment Inspection and bring up of FC200 Fungible card
to Santa Clara. 2
4. Team Communication Solution (Project from PGP Program from Great Learning)
Role:
• Implemented a Team Communication Solution using Mattermost and AWS. This is a scalable
solution that can be hosted on a on-premises data center or on a public cloud, with its
servers, storage etc.

Ph.D. Thesis Work

Thesis Title: Efficient Workload Prediction in Cloud Environment.

• Thesis proposed a BeeM-NN architecture by incorporating Workload Neural Network

Algorithm and Novel Bee Mutation Optimization Algorithm into a cloud environment for
optimized workload prediction.
• For efficient management of cloud workloads, a conceptual framework has been designed
for a federated cloud environment.
• A novel feature extraction technique is proposed to extract the important features from the
raw workloads. The proposed model initially includes the Fitness Function Extraction
Algorithm to retrieve the attribute samples from the Microsoft Azure traces.
• For predicting the future workloads, a novel prediction algorithm has been implemented
using Artificial Neural Network. With the Novel Bee Mutation Optimization Algorithm
in the cloud, the expected QoS are optimized. The developed model is tested using the
federated cloud service providers workload data traces and is analysed with the benchmark
methods.
• The result indicated that the proposed model obtained higher accuracy than the existing
systems with optimum efficiency in resource and cost usage.
