Introduction 1.0

SudaJayaTech is a one-man shop that started in 2013 in Malaysia and has been
growing ever since.

SudaJayaTech is leading enterprise software company and provider with a wide range
of products widely available for both the enterprise market and the business-to-
business SaaS market. One of the most important services of the company is that it
plays a vital role in the world by maintaining and keeping an eye on their Microsoft
BizTalk and Azure Serverless environments.

Furthermore, the latest developments indicate that the CEO of SudaJayaTech wants to
move two departments, namely, technical and development, to their Cyberjaya section
by mid-2023, and the remaining division will stay in Kuala Lumpur. Meanwhile, the
CEO wants to rearrange the network infrastructure of the existing building in Kuala
Lumpur and wants to put in place a modern network infrastructure. The company has
two floors in Kuala Lumpur and Cyberjaya; in addition, SudaJayaTech provides a
good environment for its employees to think, innovate, and build the project. Hence,
the company can build a network structure that fits their aspirations.
1.1 Objective
In order to complete this assignment , we need to design a suitable floor plan and network
grapth for both branches of SudajayaTeck in Cyberjaya and Kuala Lumpur by using Cisco
Packet Tracer. At the end of the assignment, the project should be able to satisfy both
requirements in terms of the design and create working networks.

1.2 Assumption

In general, for the SudaJayaTech company in Kuala Lumpur, the first-floor plan has been
divided into four sections, each of which will include a waiting area, a cafeteria, and a room
for internet use and CCTV surveillance to ensure that the working environment and the
quality of the location can be enjoyed to the fullest by both the employees and the visitors.
The network diagram for the business will show numerous elements that contribute to
network architecture and structure, including a router, several switches, a server, monitors to
view cameras, and laptops.
2.1 Figure number 1 | Floor Network diagram

As depicted in figure 1, the network diagram for SudaJayaTech company in Kuala Lumpur
consists of four departments; each network diagram has its own colour with the name of the
section, and each section contains many end-devices such as a surveillance camera, an air
conditioner, and computers. The devices are connected to switches 2960-24TT with cable
cross-over and fast Ethernet 01 that allow employees to get high-speed internet. Network
construction contains a PT router with IPV4 class C, which is (192.166.1.1). Furthermore, all
four switches are connected to the PT router.
2.2 Figure number 2 | Reception Area Network diagram

It depicts from the reception diagram for SudaJayaTech, there are many devices connected to
switch 2960-24TT by cable cross over fast-ethernet. Firstly, we have an air conditioner
(IOT0) and fan (IOT3) which are responsible for cooling and maintaining a comfortable
working environment . Secondly there is (PC-PT5 and PC-PT6) which connected to (IP
PHONE0 7960 and IP PHONE1 7960 ) to make a good communication between employees.
Thirdly, there is two printers which is PRINTER-PT1 and PRINTER-PT2 to allow for
employees and individuals to produce physical copy of documents, images , etc. Furthermore,
there is two webcams surveillance (IOT1 and IOT2) to monitor and record the activity in the
area . Lastly, the reception includes an Access-Point-PT that allows to wireless devices to
connect to weird network using WIFI such as :
(LAPTOP-PT , TABLET-PC-PT,SMARTPHONE-PT)
2.2 Figure number 3 | CCTV Monitor room Network diagram

Figure number three depicts the CCTV monitor room, which includes a cooling air
conditioner, a server-PT to store and process data and applications, and a webcam
surveillance system for security. Furthermore, an RFID reader (Radio Frequency
Identification) is a device used to collect data from an RFID tag, which is used to grant
company employees access to specific locations within the company. Additionally, one PC-
PT has a large monitor on which all surveillance cameras . Finally, all the devices are
connected to Switch – 2960 .
2.4 Figure number 4 | Cafeteria Network diagram

Figure four demonstrates a cafeteria diagram with a coffee machine (IOTB) to boost staff
energy and alertness. There is also a PC-PT and Printer-PT to identify orders and print
invoices, as well as an IP PHONE to receive orders , an air conditioner to cool the area, and a
webcam for safety reasons, and lastly all devices in the cafeteria are linked to Switch – 2960
with cable fast ethernet .

All devices in the waiting room are linked to switch 2960-24TT, which is linked to the main
router, as shown in Figure five. In addition, the SudaJayaTech waiting room area includes a
PC-PT , an air conditioner (IoT4) and a fan (IoT5) to generate a flow of air for cooling the
area room, as well as two (TV) connected to two (clouds) their kind of category (PT) throw
coax cable for entertainment, as well as an Access-point-PT that allows staff and customers
to access a network by acting as a bridge between wireless and wired devices. Furthermore,
A CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television) camera type (IOt6) is also utilized to monitor the entire
waiting room.
3.1 Figure number 6 | Floor plan

SudaJayaTech's floor plan was designed to meet the needs of the company, as illustrated in
the diagram, with entire floor covered with CCTV cameras for security to support employee
and visitor safety. The floor plan includes four rooms: an internet and CCTV room to monitor
all company cameras; a reception area to receive visitors; a cafeteria to foster a positive
company culture and create a welcoming environment for employees and visitors; and,
finally, a waiting room to allow individuals to wait for their turn with amenities such as a
library and two TVs.
3.2 Figure number 7 | Cafeteria

As illustrated in graph number 7 , there is a cafeteria inside SudaJayaTech's Offering a


convenient and accessible place for employees to eat to reduce the time and effort they spend
finding food outside of work. First, on the right, there is an entry door that allows visitors to
enter the lunchroom. The cafeteria consists of a table with six chairs for visitors to eat inside;
additionally, there is a water cooler alternative to purchasing bottled water and reducing
company expenses; and a kitchen equipped with most cooking utensils such as a mixer,
dishes, refrigerator, and oven, etc. There is also a counter with a telephone where visitors
can place their food orders. In addition, there is a bathroom for both genders, as well as a
trash can to throw waste, a CCTV camera for security, and an air conditioner to keep the
cafeteria cool.
3.3 Figure number 8 | Reception

It’s clear from graph number 8 that reception plays a crucial role in SudaJayaTech's company
as it is often the first point of contact for clients, customers, and visitors. In the reception area
there is the observation room. Moreover, there is also a fan and air conditioner for
refrigeration and maintaining a comfortable indoor environment and promoting the well-
being of individuals. Moreover, there are two offices for employees, each of which contains a
laptop, a telephone that provides a crucial avenue for customer service, enabling
SudaJayaTech to respond quickly to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely
manner, as well as a printer for document production. In addition, inside the reception there is
a CCTV camera for security, a trash can, a window, and a small sofa where clients can sit
while they wait.
3.4 Figure number 9 | INTERNET & CCTV Room

As the graph number nine shows, the Internet and the CCTV room play a vital role in
maintaining the security and surveillance of a SudaJayaTech company. The Internet allows
for remote monitoring and control of the surveillance system, while the CCTV cameras
provide a secure location for housing and managing the cameras and monitoring
equipment. Moreover, there is an office for a security employee to watch all the cameras on
the floor on a large screen. Also, there is a server that contains all company and customer
data. Finally, an air conditioner for cooling and maintaining the temperature of the room.
3.5 Figure number 10 | Waiting room

Figure 10 illustrates the waiting area, which provides a welcoming environment for visitors
and clients, making their experience at SudaJayaTech more pleasant and enjoyable. The
waiting room features a bookcase with a variety of reading materials, such as magazines and
books, that can help pass the time and make their wait more pleasurable, as well as two
televisions that provide amenities, information, and entertainment for visitors and create a
professional image for the SudaJayaTech company and reinforce its brand. Moreover, there
are also two sofas where visitors can unwind and gather their thoughts prior to their meeting,
causing them to feel more refreshed and constructive. In addition, there is a vase on the table
in the center of the room for ornament., a window provides natural light , a wastebasket for
throwing waste , air conditioner for cooling and a CCTV camera for protection.
4.0 Conclusion :
In summary, SudaJayaTech floor plan and network infrastructure have been designed in
accordance with the company's requirements and objectives. The network diagrams aid in the
planning and management of the SudaJayaTech network infrastructure, ensuring its
functionality, efficiency, and security. Floor diagrams helped to optimize the use of space,
ensure efficient movement of employees and visitors, and support safety and security by
providing a visual representation of SudaJayaTech physical layout.
