Round 18) -Round 70) sc around (5) Finish with a slip stitch.
Take your stem wire and bend the end around so that the end is blunt. This will prevent it from poking through the
tail. Insert it into the tail and run it all the way up to the end of the tail. You should still have a few inches of extra
wire sticking out of the open end. This will be inserted into the body during assembly.
Cut two small circles of pink felt and apply them to the mid front of the feet.
Tip: looking at reference photos of mew can really help with getting the shape and size of the eyes correct.
Assembly
1
Sew the open end of the head to the open end of the body.
2
Sew the ears to the head.
3
Sew the hips to the sides of the body.
4
Sew or glue the feet to the front of the hips.
5
Sew the arms to the body. If you want to use the optional Masterball, be sure to sew the arms at a forward
reaching angle. Then sew or glue the pokeball between the arms.
6
Insert the wire into the lower backside of the body and sew the tail to the body. Then bend the tail as desired.
7
Apply the eyes to the face and the foot pads to the feet. You can use glue or a felting needle.
Tip: to give the eyes a little more detail, use a lighter blue highlight in the lower parts of mew's eyes.
