As a Registrar Focal Point, I primarily serve as the Training Squadron focal point on all issues concerning
student learning and training data management. I help establish, maintain, input/retrieve data, and manage
several technical training student-information data bases. I collaborate directly with the Military Training Flight
(MTF), training leaders, instructors/supervisors, course training managers, and Registrars on all student training
management matters.

Training Technician

As a Formal Training Manager, my duties included: Manually and electronically managing revisions and
updates of Professional Military Education (PME) and Formal Training regulations per Air Force Instruction;
coordinating with course managers and education supervisors on new training policy implementations; offering
AF Member counseling and providing consultation with automated publications and directives to AF
Organizations and Unit Commanders; operating a variety of DoD databases and software including work
processing, spreadsheets, and management reports; cutting training orders and briefing individuals on TDY
protocols; and preparing routine correspondence with AF Members/community in connection with training
allocations and educational resources.

Mail Clerk

I receive all facility mail from external sources such as US Postal Service, United Parcel Service , Federal
Express or any other express mail delivery service. I sign receipt for these items and am responsible for the
control, safety, timely and accurate delivery of the mail piece(s) within the organization. I'm certified in the
usage of the IonScan 400B for mail/parcel scanning and inspections. I pick up and deliver mail to all MDPs of
this facility using push carts or government vehicles, as appropriate. I make full use of multiple locators,
directories, Outlook and other available procedures to identify the addresses with indexing and disposition of
undeliverable mail in accordance with USPS and DoD Regulations.

Military Security Officer

Duties, Accomplishments and Related Skills:
As a DoD Officer, my primary duties consisted of screening and controlling entry/access of individuals and
property onto a military installation via proper authorization and identification. Specifically, my work duties
included assignment to a commercial vehicle search area/post wherein I inspect vendor/delivery trucks, trailers,
and cargo seeking entry onto the military base, performing security/police patrols and responses, basic incident
report writing, computer/database entry, maintaining radio/security communication, completing security/police
training (including computer-based) and certifications, and providing public assistance wherever warranted.

Security Technician

As a Security Technician, I assisted the Lackland Air Force Base, 37th Security Forces Squadron (SFS) in an

Terrorism Training, Computer Information Awareness, Protection of the President, Exercising Religious
Freedoms and Rights, Prevention of Sexual Harassment Training. Also, I have completed the following AF
training group military courses: Analysis/Design/Development/Implementation/Evaluation (ADDIE), Tech
Writer, Occupational Survey Data (OSD), Instructor/Developer of Online Learning (IDOL), Training
Development, Training Management, and Training Supervisor. All training and courses here were completed
while working as a Dept. of Defense security and training technician.

Additional Information:
I have taken various social education and behavior courses because of my interest in becoming more aware of
human interactions and social dynamics.

I also bring to work and the social setting a diverse occupational and cultural sensibility. The multicultural
experiences I have acquired not only relate to educational studies, but also with real-world exchanges gained via
military service and life's happenings. I feel that I possess a great aptitude for effective public service,
investigative inquiry, mediating differences of opinion, and in helping to structure positive interactions, both
inside the office and outside with the public.

My future work aspirations are to work in instructional design as a course writer, helping to analyze, write, and
develop training and lesson plans for various training courses and/or programs.

I'm computer knowledgeable w/Microsoft applications-power point, EXCEL, windows, etc. My typing speed is
approximately 50 wpm.

Ultimately, I believe I'm a person who's highly team-oriented, personable, and very open to new ideas, which
includes having an excellent passion for education/research, learning, and inquisition. I think, too, I'm an
efficient communicator with competent narration and people skills.
