Problem 1: Find the area of a triangle whose sides have lengths 6 cm, 8 cm, and 10
cm using Heron's Formula.
Problem 2: The sides of a triangle are in the ratio 5:12:13, and its perimeter is 150
cm. Find the area of the triangle using Heron's Formula.
Problem 3: The perimeter of an equilateral triangle is 36 cm. Find its area using
Heron's Formula.
Problem 4: The lengths of the sides of a triangle are 7 cm, 10 cm, and 12 cm. Is the
triangle a right-angled triangle? If yes, find its area using Heron's Formula.
Problem 5: A triangular park has sides of lengths 120 m, 175 m, and 225 m. Three
friends, Aman, Bharat, and Chetan, each want to grow crops on a separate piece of
land in this park. The three friends decide to divide the park's area into three equal
parts, and each person will get one part. Can they do this? If yes, find the area of the
land that each friend will get.
Problem 6: The sides of a triangle are 13 cm, 14 cm, and 15 cm. Calculate the area of
the triangle using Heron's Formula and then find its height corresponding to the
longest side (15 cm).
Problem 9: The perimeter of a triangle is 60 cm. Two of its sides are 20 cm and 25
cm in length. Find the area of the triangle using Heron's Formula.
Problem 10: The lengths of the sides of a triangle are 7 cm, 9 cm, and 14 cm.
Calculate the area of the triangle using Heron's Formula and then find the length of
the altitude drawn to the longest side (14 cm).
