My name is Rumeysa, I
study at Atatürk University department of ELT. My name is Tuğçe I study at Atatürk
University department of ELT. Today we will talk about wedding ceremonies in
different cultures.

2.SLAYT:These are our contents, we are going to share some ceremonies fromthese
countries. Norway, Congo, India, Colombia, Cuba, Fijı and Turkey

3.SLAYT: Are there any interesting wedding customs in your city?

4.SLAYT:We have one country from each continent.

5-6-7.SLAYT:Let,s start with Norway.In Norway, In Norway, brides

wear a special crown of spoon-shaped charms during the wedding. When the
bride moves, the charms make music, which is believed to ward off evil
spirits.

8.SLAYT: In Kongo, during their entire wedding, the groom and the bride
are not supposed to laugh. Because if they do, that means they don’t take
marriage seriously.

11.slayt: the next one is india. Some Indian women accepted as cursed
because of their date of births. To break the curse, they should marry a tree
first./ widowhood means losing your husband.
