Teacher’s Notes

(1) The students need to explain which verb is different in each line. E.g.:

Ride Fly Drive Walk

• I think that “walk” is different, because you need some means of transport to ride,
fly or drive, but you need only your legs and feet to walk.

The answers may vary:

• I think that “fly” is different, because we ride a horse, drivee a car and walk on
the ground, but we fly planes in the sky.

The answer will be absolutely acceptable, if the student has an explanation.

(2) After this ask the students to write V2 of all the verbs on the page.

When they are done, check the answers orally.

(3) What did the students do yesterday?

Every student chooses 10 verbs to speak about their day yesterday.

(4) Remind your students that last time you spoke about superheroes.

What did the superheroes from the previous lesson do yesterday?

Listen to their answers and do the next exercise.
