Core Labour Standards

The Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, adopted by member states in 1998 and amended in 2022, identified
a few core labour standards:

 Freedom of Association and the Right to Collective Bargaining

 Discrimination and Equal Remuneration
 Prohibition of child labour
 Prohibition of forced labour

Occupational Safety and Health added in 2022

The conventions which give effect to these principles are called the Fundamental Conventions:
