ADMISSION NOTIFICATION FOR STRAY VACANCY ROUND OF COUNSELING IN

MD / MS DEGREE COURSE 2021- 22

To fill up the vacant seats in MD/MS Degree Courses for the academic year 2021-22
after completion of the Mop-Up round of counseling conducted by the MCC of DGHS, Govt. of
India, New Delhi.
All eligible candidates whose names displayed in the list Published by the MCC of DGHS
after completion of the Mop-Up round of counseling who are willing to apply for admission to
fill-up the vacant seats in MD / MS Degree Courses offered by Vinayaka Mission’s Medical
College & Hospital, Karaikal are requested to report at Counseling Hall, Vinayaka Mission’s
Research Foundation (Deemed to be University), Sankari Main Road (NH-47), Ariyanoor,
Salem – 636 308, Tamilnadu.

Candidates are directed to refer “Deemed University seat matrix for stray vacancy round PG
2021” to be published by MCC of DGHS on or after 30th April 2022 for the final seat matrix
status.

Procedure:

1 Candidates attending Stray Vacancy round of counseling should satisfy the eligibility
requirement as per the NEET PG Information Brochure - 2021 and the minimum eligibility
requirements as prescribed by the National Medical Commission regulations for
admission to PG Medical (MD/MS) course.

2 The seats will be allotted through Institution Stray Vacancy round of counseling based on
the inter-se merit in NEET PG 2021 All India Rank. Amongst the candidates present on the
said date and time. No cancellation will be entertained after this admission.

3 The physical presence of the candidate at the counseling is mandatory.

4 Only the candidate & one parent will be allowed into the counseling hall

5 Candidates shall make all prior arrangements to transfer fee through RTGS / NEFT /
Online transfer/ Net-Banking of prescribed tuition fee.

6 The Candidates who are not able to comply with the above requirements will be deemed
to have forfeited their seats and the same will be made available to the next available
candidate on the merit basis.

7 The candidates will have to satisfy the eligibility requirements for admission to PG
Medical programs

8 Candidates will be called as per their NEET PG 2021 All India Rank for document
verification. Successful candidates will be allotted seats according to their All India NEET
PG 2021 rank based on the number of seats available under the All India Category. Such
candidates should produce their original documents for verification and pay the first-year
fees at the time of counseling. Vinayaka Mission’s Medical college & Hospital, Karaikal
will not entertain any request for extension of time to remit the fee payment.

9 The option exercised by you with regard to selection of the course of study at the time of
counseling will be final.

10 Absence of the candidate at the indicated reporting time and date will result in the
instantaneous forfeiture of any claim for a seat.
