The total ranking of a product in a category, represented by the bar length, is based on a weighted aggregate score. The score is calculated
using the following factors:
ul>
li>Comparisons Views: the product with the highest number of comparisons with other products-in-the-category gets a
maximum of 25 points. Every other product gets assigned points based on its total in proportion to the #1 product
in that ranking factor. For example, if a product has 80% of the number of comparison views compared to the
product with the most reviews then the product's points for reviews would be 25 * 80%./li>

Snowflake See 44 reviews >>

Overview
Snowflake is a cloud-based data warehousing solution for storing and processing data, generating reports and dashboards,
and as a BI reporting source. It is used for optimizing costs and using financial data, as well as for migrating data from on-
premises to the cloud.

The solution is often used as a centralized data warehouse, combining data from multiple sources. Snowflake has helped
organizations improve query performance, store and process JSON and XML, consolidate multiple databases into one unified
table, power company-wide dashboards, increase productivity, reduce processing time, and have easy maintenance with
good technical support.

Its platform is made up of three components:

Cloud services: As part of its cloud services... [Read More]

Time travel is one feature that really helps us out. If there is some data discrepancy or something wrong that happens with the
table, at any point, we can get that data back and time travel via fail-safe features. They're really good. The feasibility to
increase horizontal or vertical scaling is great. It really helps a developer at an enterprise level. If you're considering scaling, it
Medha won't take much time. We can create cloning via Snowflake. There's a lot of time savings. The initial setup is simple. [Full

The most valuable feature of Snowflake is consumption-based costs, which means that you only pay for the storage and
compute you use. There's a complete separation of storage and computing, so you don't need to add another server to
increase storage or computing. From a costing perspective, it's well-positioned. Snowflake's time travel is also incredibly useful,
Chris Hastie and they have a function called "UNDROP," where you can undo a table drop. Data sharing and replication for Snowflake are
strong, and they have a data marketplace with public and private dat... [Full Review]

The query speed, and the way that it actually executes its queries is the most valuable aspect of the solution. We had some
queries that would take hours upon hours to run, and the Snowflake returns the results in about 15 minutes. It requires no
maintenance on our part. They handle all that. The speed is phenomenal. The pricing isn't really anything more than what you
Todd would be paying for a SQL server license or another tool to execute the same thing. We have zero maintenance on our side to
Burdell

I appreciate the Snowflake marketplace, where you can drop data and allow other people throughout the world to access it.
You can go to the Snowflake marketplace and connect to some data. If somebody else publishes, for example, COVID-19 data
or weather data, you can sign up for new data sets and bring them into your warehouse, which I found very interesting. You
Hemant can connect to different cloud sources, including Azure and AWS. You can report out, and all the cloud technologies have

The solution could use a little bit more UI. Something was in process, however, it's not yet deployed or in the version that I'm
using it is not deployed. If we have to use any table or any schema in other DB features, the prompt comes over after a dot.
Whenever we are using it it would really help if it looked better. If you're running a procedure, it just gives a standard error
Medha instead of the exact error captured. If you have to look at it, you need to go into the history to look into which query failed, and
Valvekar
we need to figure it out. Instead, if t... [Full Review]

The main thing I'm excited to see at some point with Snowflake, hopefully - I've not seen anything coming out of it yet - is Git
integration into the worksheets and the UI. Sometimes it can be tricky to manage multiple environments if you're purely using
Snowflake as your scripting and pipeline environment. This is handleable, so if you use third-party tools like DBT, Matillion, etc.,
Chris Hastie those can help. But if you're looking purely within Snowflake itself, it'd be great to have some form of Git support. For the future
releases, I would love it if they ... [Full Review]

One area for improvement would be the stored procedures. Currently, their stored procedures can only be executed at a
transactional level versus being able to run and do updates and run things in a sequence. An additional feature I'd like to see is
called materialized views, which can speed up some run times. I'd like it to be able to be used where you can have multiple
Todd tables inside them; materialized view. That would be nice. As well as being able to run cursors, to be able to do some bulk
Burdell
updates and some more advanced querying, table building on... [Full Review]

The pricing is fair for all the features that Snowflake is providing. The way Snowflake has emerged in the past few years is
impressive. It was just a beginner in the space, and it has become a leader in the market. For all the features it provides at a
basic cost, it is impressive. There are no extra costs involved unless you need to scale and grow and need more in terms of
Medha size. When we started, a medium-size was sufficient. We'd since needed more. The solution allows us to suspend our

For our licensing, we renew every January by $25,000 in both credits. Their pricing structure is a pay-per-second usage in
terms of credits, but you can get discounts if you buy them in bulk. I think it's $1.10 an hour in terms of usage. We just buy
upfront and that gets us taken care of for the whole year. [Full Review]

It is hard to say because we're usually engaged in the transition as opposed to the long term. Their storage costs are easily
within pennies of what AWS S3 would normally cost. Most of the clients I've been working with are in the financial sector, and
they're relatively small. I would put them in an SMB connection. The first thing we have to bring up for people is that they're
Charles going to build this. They shouldn't store their data in S3. They should pipeline directly into Snowflake and use it on their

What I found most valuable in Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics is that it's native only for Azure, so you get better
performance and there's no issue. To explain further, many different types of data come, in particular, structured and

My company is on a monthly subscription for Azure Data Factory, but it's more of a pay-as-you-go model where your monthly

I'm not too familiar with the cost, but I believe we're reasonably happy with what we're paying. My understanding is that the

Overview
What is Amazon Redshift?

Amazon Redshift is a fully administered, petabyte-scale cloud-based data warehouse service. Users are able to begin with a
minimal amount of gigabytes of data and can easily scale up to a petabyte or more as needed. This will enable them to utilize
their own data to develop new intuitions on how to improve business processes and client relations.

Initially, users start to develop a data warehouse by initiating what is called an Amazon Redshift cluster or a set of nodes.
Once the cluster has been provisioned, users can seamlessly upload data sets, and then begin to perform data analysis
queries. Amazon Redshift delivers super-fast query performance, regardless of size, utilizing the exact SQL-based tools and BI
app... [Read More]

SAP Business Warehouse has a few areas for improvement. One is that it takes more work to get the data, including reporting
on that data, because some coding is required, and a significant level of transformation is needed. I also find the performance
reporting function of SAP Business Warehouse challenging, so that's another area for improvement. What I want to see in SAP

What I'd like to improve in SAP Business Warehouse is its data structure, that's a little bit rigid. It could be a bit more flexible, so
you can design your data structure and improve performance when creating a solution. Currently, the way data is stored in SAP
Business Warehouse is rigid. SAP has released BW/4HANA, and the database has changed. Still, in the next release of SAP
Sai Business Warehouse, I'd like to see the capability to run big data solutions and integration with other databases, such as
Chintapalli
Hadoop, which is currently not there. [Full Review]

One area that could be improved is the Business Explorer still needs to be developer-friendly also. Another improvement
would be to develop certain connectors to get hold of the external data. That aspect also needs to be strengthened. It needs
to be reinforced because there were issues when we were integrating the SAP BW system with a source system, which is other

I would not recommend it to small-scale companies. The price is too much. If you consider all the ERP products, Microsoft and
Oracle are also selling their ERP products. Their pricing is very less as compared to SAP Business Warehouse. SAP is very
costly. If you compare it to Odoo, it is free of cost, while SAP is too costly. [Full Review]

The licensing cost for SAP Business Warehouse depends on your revenue. Its licensing structure is a little bit complicated. The
more your revenue is, the higher the price, but SAP does have different pricing structures for various companies. For small
businesses, licensing isn't based on revenue, but for big companies, it's revenue-based. There's some agreement regarding

It's quite pricey. SAP changed its pricing policy, so they give you one engine and then you have to buy everything next to it,
like MSS, the BPC licenses, and everything else. So what you see on the bill at first is not exactly what you will pay, to say the
least. [Full Review]

One advantage is that if you already have an Oracle Database, it easily integrates with that. If you are using structured data, it
works pretty well. They have engineered their hardware, which is based on Sun, to work with their database and data

The integration feature is very good because you can automate protection security automatically, restricting the access of
unauthorized people. It can also maintain security in terms of service failure, service protection, and the duration of the

Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse has plenty of valuable features. It has large amounts of flash cache. It has segregated IO.
It has something called smart scan, which other databases don't have. It has got plenty of stuff in the database. [Full Review]

There is a need for more storage to be allocated, but over a period of time, it becomes impossible to reduce it after using it. If
you use more storage and don't need it in the future, then you have to remove some data and use less storage. You cannot

It is good as data warehouses go, but it is not that good for really big data. It doesn't work well when you have unstructured

Oracle should increase visibility options because what's available now is limited. Experienced users are easily able to

The licensing cost of the product can vary since you can integrate it very easily with other products or other cloud products,

One of the valuable features about this solution is that it's managed services, so it's pretty stable, and scalable as much as you
wish. It has all the necessary distributions. With some additional work, it's also possible to change to a Spark version with the
latest version of EMR. It also has Hudi, so we are leveraging Apache Hudi on EMR for change data capture, so then it comes

In the main application, we use Hive, Spark, and Flink, and there are some additional small tools. We have to do this job inside
EMR itself and run from Airflow. We also use a service from Amazon, and we manage jobs through Airflow. There's lots of
scheduling, et cetera, that happens. Before, we used Jenkins. Now, we also integrate from Jenkins to Airflow and its

The cost is increasing. We are looking into how we can optimize the cost part of EMR. We're doing a comparison between

The problem for us is it starts very slow. They need to improve the start time. If we use a long-running EMR, it costs a lot of
money. However, when we start, for example, a job, if the job runs for one hour, it's normal as it starts in about ten minutes. If
we want, for example, to run each five minutes, it's a problem if it takes ten minutes to start. It's a little bit weird that you cannot

Interdependencies with a third-party or open source solution should be improved. Modules and strategies should be better

You only pay for the EC2 fees for Amazon EMR. The number of clusters you launch and the time you use them determine the

is compatible with it. There is no need to pay extra for third-party software. [Full Review]
