PRACTICE TEST 4

WRITING
Task 1:
Overall, it is evident that in the UK, most professions witness a wage raise after three years of experience.
However, there is a significant gap in average weekly working hours amongst careers, with teachers and
firefighters having substantially higher weekly working hours than underground drivers.

According to the bar chart, underground drivers receive the highest starting income of 50,000 pounds and a
salary increase to nearly 51,000 pounds after three years. Nurses, on the other hand, have the lowest
earnings, starting at around 17,000 pounds and rising to over 19,000 pounds after three years. Police officers'
salaries remain relatively stable during the three-year period, hovering around 22,000 pounds.

According to the data in the table, teachers and firefighters spend the most weekly hours at work, both
averaging 55 hours per week. On the contrary, underground drivers put in the fewest hours per week, clocking
in at just 36 hours on average.

Task 2:
It is argued that for free-vehicle days private cars should be banned and people should bear in mind the usage
of public transportation, such as trains, buses. In my perspective, disadvantages, such as country recession,
will be decreased by its advantages like fewer climates struggle and saving in fuel.
Admittedly, there are some basic demerits of banning some vehicles, such as cars, motorcycles and trucks,in
the city centres in particular days.Firstly,it might compromises the convienence of travel of many.In other
words, most people prefer to commute in their own cars or motorbikes and they feel discomfortable when they
travel with other people in public transportations.Secondly,if it is not permitted to use own vehicles on vehicle-
free days ,all people will have to depend on mass transportation on those days and it could make the public
transportation centres overcrowded. This also may demand more seats in buses and trains which can cause a
financial burden on local authorities.
Despite the demerits of secession slow down, the widespread merits of banning private transportation are the
low environmental hassle and less fuel consumption. As there will be less vehicle on the road, a gas
consumption sharply decreases. This will be a benefit to reduce harmful gases in the habitat area to some
extent. Moreover, the usage of petrol and diesel fuel wasting will astonishingly less than usual owning to the
free-vehicle days. I believe that the prohibition private cars is not only a helpful to the surroundings, but also
saves a natural environment.
To conclude, the positive outcomes of vehicle free days have more weight over the minor drawbacks of
travelers in convience and crowded transportation centres on these days.
