Instructions:

1. For each 4pics game you want to make, create a copy of the template on a permanent
location. Do not use the template itself.
2. Open the creator and start slideshow or press F5 on your keyboard to start the
slideshow.
a. Important! These powerpoint files rely heaviliy on VBA code to work. VBA is a
programming language mostly used in MS Office programs for ease of use.
Upon opening these files, you may be warned that these macros may have
harmful content. It will have harmful content only if someone puts harmful
content. It takes a lot of trust, but please enable the macro or content for this
to work.

There is nothing to gain by putting harmful content in my work.

If you trust the developer enough, you may continue.
3. Choose 4 pictures to use by clicking on the click me button. You have to choose 4
pictures exactly or it won’t work.
4. Type your word in the white empty textbox.
5. Click Randomize. This should fill the blank square with random letters along with the
letters of your word.
a. Note: If you are not happy with the random letters, you may click randomize
again and again as you wish.
6. With the picture and the word all set, click create slide.
7. Repeat steps 3 to 6 until you have finished creating your desired 4pics slides.
8. Once you have finished, click finish and find an empty template you have copied. You
should get a confirmation that is done.
9. Exit the slideshow.
10. Copy (Do not Cut), the textbox on the creator with the word “link” on it.
11. Paste the “link” box on your original powerpoint.
a. Note: You can re-format or re-design the link button according to your style.
12. Click the link on your powerpoint.
a. Example: You have a powerpoint file about the environment and in the middle of
the presentation, you want to open the 4pics game you made, just click the
“link” box while on slideshow mode and the game will open.
b.
13. Click “Start”.
a. Note: As much as the developer wishes to remove this start button, it is
necessary because without it, the code for the game won’t run.
14. Play.

Additional Notes:

1. The only things that you may alter that will not affect the program’s functionality are:
a. The “Link” box in the creator which you can re-design,
b. The “Start” button in the template and its corresponding slide.
c. The rest, if you change anything on them. The developer is not liable if you are
unable to make the program work.
2. Once you click on the creator, the template you used should remain on the same place
permanently so choose wisely. Why? Because, the link won’t find your file if you move
it. But there’s a workaround for that. Instructions will be on the next release.
3. This program is made on powerpoint and will depend on your computer for
performance. This was tested on a very old low-performance laptop with relative ease,
so it should work fine with you.
4. If you encounter any problems, please try to take notes on what were you doing when it
happened and please report it immediately so that the bugs can be fixed early.
