AFFIDAVIT IN SUPPORT OF BAIL APPLICATION

I, the undersigned,

JOHN DAVIDS

do hereby make the following statement under oath without any undue influence:

1.

I confirm that I am John Davids, ID number 9701095122089, an adult male currently

27 years of age.
 2.

I currently reside at 08 Curvy Road, Blairgowrie, Randburg.

3.

I confirm that I have no previous criminal conviction and no pending cases.

4.

I am charged with the offence of premeditated murder with aggravating

circumstances. I understand the charges against me, as they were further explained

to me by my attorney to be listed in Schedule 6 of the bail Legislation.

5.

I am not in possession of a passport, so I do not possess the ability to flee nor do I

intend on fleeing from these criminal proceedings against me. Until such time as the

matter has been finalized, I will not evade trial and I will attend the case until the

matter is finalized.

6.

I am not in possession of, nor do I own any firearm.

 7.

I will not communicate with any state witnesses during the course of the trial as I do

not know them or their residential addresses.

8.

I am willing to adhere to any bail conditions that the Honourable Court imposes on

me.

9.

I have a spouse who is dependent on me and my incarceration during the course of

these criminal proceedings will cause financial and emotional harm on her.

10.

I intend pleading Not Guilty to all the charges. I wish to reserve the basis for my

defence at this stage of the proceedings.

11.

Due to the afore-mentioned reasons I humbly submit that it is in the interests of

justice that bail be granted.

 12.

I have R7500.00 available to contribute towards the bail application and submit that

such amount is fair and just.
