2. Overview
This course provides basic and practical knowledge of human resourse management in
businesses and organizations, such as Job analysis, HR planning, recruitment and selection,
training and development, performance management and appraisal, financial compensation
and nonfinancial compensation, safe and healthy working environment, labor relations -
employee relations and new trendings of HRM in 21th century.
3. Objectives
Students will be equipped with basic and practical knowledge of human resource management
in businesses; the relationship between human resource management and other activities in
organizations, thereby realizing new challenges in human resource management nowadays.
The course also helps students cultivate professional standards such as the knowledge,
attitudes, and skills needed by human resources workers to meet the rigorous requirements of
the market economy.

7. Assessment Methods
7.1. Description of learning outcomes assessment
Students must carry out the following tasks:
- Attend at least 80% of theory lessons.

- Complete fully group exercises/Moodle exercises and be evaluated the performance of


each group and individual in the group.
- Attend mid-term test.
- Attend the final exam.
- Actively organize and conduct self-study, discussion and research .
- The learning process score will be based on item 7.2. Students need to comply with.
