01. GET TING STARTED

HAVE YOU DOWNLOADED YOUR PURCHASED FILE? NOW UNZIP IT, IF IT'S ZIPPED FILE,
AND YOU ARE READY TO START YOUR DIGITAL PLANNER.
BEFORE STARTING, PLEASE REMEMBER WHERE YOU PLACED THE FILE.

OUR PLANNERS ARE CREATED TO BE USED WITH MOST PDF ANNOTATION APP OUT
THERE, BUT I HAVE FOUND THAT GOODNOTES ON IPAD WORKS BEST.

THIS GUIDE SHOWS HOW TO USE THE DIGITAL PLANNER WITH GOODNOTES.

1. Open your GoodNotes App.

2. Tab the + area or 'New...'

The planner PDF file should be

unzipped before importing it.

HOW TO ORGANIZE THE NOTEBOOK PAPER
THIS WILL SHOW YOU HOW TO COPY AND PASTE ANY PAGE TEMPLATE TO A SPECIFIC
LOCATION IN YOUR PLANNER.
THE SAME APPLIES TO UTILIZE DIGITAL NOTEBOOKS.

1. Open your digital planner.

2. Go to the page you want to copy.
In this tutorial, we are going to copy the Cornell
Dots template and paste it into Notebook 1.

button on the top right. This will show you
options you can choose from in order to

4. Select 'Copy Page'.

You can basically import,

export, copy, paste, duplicate,
or delete any page from this
thumbnails screen.

5. 4. With the page copied, now go to the page you
want to paste after.
In this tutorial, the cover of Notebook 1 is
chosen.
5. Click the little four-square icon on the top left.
7. This will show you the page thumbnails of this
notebook.
6. 6. Tab small downside arrow beneath the chosen
page thumbnail. This will show you options you
can choose from.
7. Select 'Add Page After'.

9. Now you can select what to add from.

Please select 'Paste Page'.

You can add a Current

Template - it is the same as
duplicating from the current
page, or you can add a
GoodNotes Basic Template.

10. Now you can see a page has been created. This
is what you copied in step #4.
11. It's all done!

11. Additionally, you can 'Duplicate' the selected

page too as much as you can.
12. To add another template (paper or page), go to
step #1 and repeat.

0 3 . H OW TO C H A N G E T H E COV ER
THE COVER IS SIMPLY THE FIRST PAGE OF A NOTEBOOK, SO YOU JUST NEED TO GET A
PAGE TO REPLACE AND DELETE THE PAGE THAT ALREADY EXISTS.

1. Open your digital planner.

2. Tab the Thumbnail icon on top left.

3. Tab small downside arrow beneath the cover

thumbnail. This will show you options you can
choose from.

4. Select 'Add Page After'

Depends on the page you have

clicked on, you can select 'Add
Page Before'.

5. Select 'Import'

6. Browse and select a new cover.

7. Now you can see the new cover page has been
added.

8. Keep the new cover you added, and delete what

you don't need anymore.

You can delete each page

one by one, or select multiple
pages and move it to 'Trash' at
a time.

8. Now you have a new cover!

04. HOW TO USE STICKERS

THERE ARE 2 OPTIONS FOR IMPORTING STICKERS TO YOUR DIGITAL PLANNER.

ONE IS USING GOODNOTES STICKER BOOK, THE OTHER IS IMPORTING INDIVIDUAL
STICKER IMAGES IN PNG FORMAT.

04.1. Option 1
Using GoodNotes File

1. Import [PRODUCT NAME].goodnotes file into

your GoodNotes

2. You can see the imported GoodNotes sticker

book contains all the pre-cropped stickers in
place.

You can now just copy any sticker and paste it

into your digital planner

Importing individual images

04.2.1. Impor ting individual images from the picture

1. Tab the picture icon on the top menu bar.

2. Select a sticker image you want to import.

It can be in your iPad Gallery if you already

placed the sticker images. Otherwise, find the
folder where the sticker images are by clicking
'Insert from..'

1. Open Files in split view and locate where your
sticker images are.
2. Select your desired sticker and Drag & Drop it
onto your planner.

3. Select the lasso tool from the menu bar.
4. Tap and hold where you want, and select 'Paste'.

05. HYPERLINK NOT WORKING?

FOR THE HYPERLINKS TO WORK ON GOODNOTES, PLEASE ENTER READ-ONLY MODE

FIRST BY CLICKING THE MIDDLE ICON IN THE TOP-RIGHT CORNER.

1. Tab the 'Read-only Mode' icon on the navigation

bar.

You can use hyperlinks while in

writing mode by pressing and
holding on the tab/button/link
and then clicking "Open link."

2. Tap the Read-Only mode icon again to turn off

the read-only mode. This will turn on the Tool
Bar, too. By this, you can activate the 'Write'
mode.
