Business and Intellectual Property Authority (BIPA) is a state-owned enterprise (SOE) established in terms of the Business Legislation Close Corporations Act, 1988
and Intellectual Property Authority Act, 2016 (Act No. 8 of 2016) with the following National objectives: Sections 12, 13, 14, 24, 27, 29, 47 and 60) and Regulations 2, 3 and 13
a) facilitate economic growth and development to raise income and promote investment and create
