ASSESSMENT 3: PITCH SESSION

Topic: Advertising on Flavoured Water Bottle Scent Pods

Introduction/Attention I believe this advertising is the future of flavour that everyone has
getter: never experienced before. The advertising will attract so many
customers and get them confused because of the science behind it.
Problem/Issue: A new product launch can be stressful since a large dark cloud of
potential problems surrounds it. Convincing the customers why they
need the product could be the best issue.

It is quite difficult to convey the content in a way that resonates with the
target audience. It frequently fails to successfully position the new product
and identify the appropriate brand language.

Proposal: What kind of product that is the future of flavour? Welcome to the
future of flavour, science calls it retronasal smell, but we call it tasting
with your nose. We present to you, flavoured water bottle scent pods!
Solution: So how to attract audience with the advertising? Aside from aiming at
selling the product, it would be great to create a compelling value
proposition. Communicate the unique benefits and value that the new
product provides.

The question is, why people need this water bottle? It is not the usual
water bottle. It is part of a water revolution. A refillable water bottle that
utilizes flavour pods to enhance the taste of the water without actually
adding any flavouring to the water itself. The pods are placed on the
water bottle and when you take a sip, the flavoured air bubbles travel
through mouth to nose where brain interprets it as flavour. With this
kind of new revolution, more people will get the hype of the product.
People who struggle with staying hydrated would enjoy this bottle. And
those people will move around like moving billboard, introducing this
brand to few people with its unique benefits.

Justification for the People has set in mind that water is just water. Nothing interesting
solution: about it.

This product is ideal for a consumer who enjoys flavoured water and
finds that they are able to drink more water if it is flavoured. Customers
will get five free pods with every purchase of water bottle.

Just imagine, you will save a lot of money if you purchase this water
bottle instead of purchasing sweet drinks few times a day. One pod
works for about 1.5 litres of water. One pod only costs RM4.50. for
people who are struggling to cut their sugar intake would really benefit
from this product. Not only they will be healthier, but they also get to
save hundreds of ringgit!
