ANG HULING EL BIMBO NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION

Ang Huling El Bimbo: a musical based on the songs of the most well-known band of the 1990s
popularly known as Ang Huling El Bimbo. On July 20, 2018, the musical premiered at the Newport
Performing Arts Theatre in Pasay.

APO WHANG-OD TATTOO KALINGA, CORDILLERA

Apo Wang-od is a national artist of Philippines and also, she is also is the oldest tattoo artist in the
Philippines at 103 years old and she is the last mambabatok or traditional Kalinga tattooist.

BURNAY MAKING, ILOCOS SUR, REGION I

Viganos fight to maintain the ancient manner of creating burnay (unglazed clay jars), an industry that
literally emerged from the dirt, in addition to conserving their old Antillan ancestral residences. The
burnay is formed of clay that has been mashed and combined with sand by carabaos. Electric kilns,
which are more convenient, are displacing the dragon kilns, which bake the burnay jars, resulting in the
gradual extinction of a centuries-old custom and way of life.

El Gamma Penumbra is a shadow play company and dance instructors from the Philippines. They were
finalists in Pilipinas Got Talent and went on to win Asia's Got Talent in the first season, while Mongolian
musical ensemble Khusugtun finished second.
