About the Author
INTRODUCTION

The core mandate of every Christian is to be a Saviour of men. Why did

God send Jesus Christ as a sin offering to the world? God knows
humankind cannot save himself, so He sent his Son to save us from sin.

Before Jesus Christ ascended to His Heavenly Father, He commanded us

to preach the good news to the entire world because the world needs the
light.

God cannot use angels to save (salvation) men. He uses humankind to set
His creation free from destruction. Find out in this book why we must win

the lost, how to work out your salvation, and the tactics of soul winning.
CHAPTER ONE

THE LOVE OF GOD

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 3:16

God knew that humankind could not save himself, so He sent His son
Jesus Christ as a sin offering to enable us to connect to Him. God knows

we are weak in the flesh. God knows that our morality cannot measure up
with His standards of righteousness, so He gave us Jesus Christ. The Holy

Spirit overshadowed the virgin Mary, and she gave birth to Jesus Christ.

The birth of Jesus Christ was supernatural. Mary did not have sexual

intercourse with anyone before she gave birth to Jesus Christ. Mary was a
virgin when she received the seed from the Holy Spirit (See Luke chapter

one in the Holy Bible). The Holy Spirit breathed the seed into the womb

of Mary. When the seed entered Mary, Jesus Christ formed in her womb.

Jesus Christ lived a holy life. He did what His Heavenly Father did. He

walked with the Holy Spirit. He was always obedient to His Heavenly

Father. He obeyed the instructions of His earthly parents. They (some

religious people and unbelievers) accused Jesus Christ of a sin he never

committed. Jesus Christ taught the Word to His followers and everyone He

met. He healed the sick, cast out devils, and did many supernatural works.

The religious people and the unbelievers crucified Him on the cross

because of hatred.

Jesus shed His blood for the world. His holy blood permitted humankind
to access the Heavenly Father. Jesus Christ died, and on the third day, He

arose from the dead. When He arose from the dead, He promised His

followers the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the guide to every believer in

Christ Jesus. He guides every Christian in the journey of life and assists
the believer in his vicissitudes of life.

His death and resurrection brought life and power to Christians. He has

given Christians the power over sin and the authority to destroy the devil's

works. When you repent and accept Jesus Christ as your Saviour and the

Lord of your life, He grants you peace, blessings, and eternal reward in His

kingdom. The kingdom of Jesus Christ is eternal. It is a place of holiness,

joy, and peace. Angels live in this kingdom. The saints who died in the
Lord live in that place. It is a spiritual kingdom.

There is no sickness, death, darkness, or sorrow in that kingdom. The only

thing you must do is to believe (have faith) Jesus Christ as the only
Saviour of your life and confess with your tongue that He is the Lord of

your life. After the confession, you walk in the light of the Word.

There is no other salvation except the salvation of Jesus Christ (See 1

Timothy 2:5). If you reject the salvation of Jesus Christ, you reject life

(See John 3:17). Jesus Christ died and rose on the third day so we can

receive power over sickness, calamity, wickedness, devils, evil, and

destruction. The power lies in your hands to embrace the gift of salvation.

Remember this key, without the shedding of blood; there is no remission

of sin (See Hebrews 9:22).

God values blood as a spiritual currency in the spiritual realm. God cannot

force you to receive salvation because He has given you free will. Take a

bold step and accept Jesus Christ as your Saviour and the Lord of your life

to enable you to receive eternal life because you don’t know when you will

die or when Jesus Christ will come for the saints.

CHAPTER TWO

THE BLIND WORLD

Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we

faint not;

But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in

craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation

of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight

of God.

But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

IN WHOM THE GOD OF THIS WORLD HATH BLINDED THE

MINDS OF THEM WHICH BELIEVE NOT, LEST THE LIGHT OF

THE GLORIOUS GOSPEL OF CHRIST, WHO IS THE IMAGE OF

GOD, SHOULD SHINE UNTO THEM.

2 Corinthians 4:1-4

The god (Satan) of this world has blinded the spiritual senses of the

unbelievers. The unbelievers are in great danger because the enemy has
corrupted their spiritual eyes and ears. They only use their physical senses.

They will never believe the things of God until they see them. This is one

reason we have to win them for Christ Jesus at all costs. We know that God
can only act when we act in faith (See Hebrews 11:6). Faith goes beyond

the physical senses.

We use our six senses (faith) to activate the hands of God. Without faith,

we can never please God. Our emotions can never activate the power of

God in our life. Our sympathy can never activate the power of God. Our
goodness can never activate the power of God because they are filthy rags

in His sight. The best virtue that can activate the hands of God is our faith.

This means that the unbelievers are helpless without our help because they

operate with their five senses. We are their only hope. If we leave them to

perish, God will require their soul from us. Let us read from the Word.

And it came to pass at the end of seven days, that the word of the LORD

came unto me, saying,

Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel:

therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.

When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not

warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his

life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I

require at thine hand.

Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from

his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy

soul.

Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and

commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die:

because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his

righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood

will I require at thine hand.

Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not,

and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou

hast delivered thy soul.

Ezekiel 3:16-21

Failure to warn the unbelievers of their evil ways makes us accountable to

God because we watch over their souls. Living with a sick person and

refusing to provide the prescribed medicine for the patient makes you

liable for his death because you had the drugs that could cure him. The
drugs could cure the patient, but you refused to give the drug to the

patient.

The same principle applies to every Christian. We are the light and the salt

of this world because the Holy Spirit lives in us. Our spiritual senses are
active in hearing the voice of God and see the things of the Spirit. We can

see the enemy's plans, but the unbelievers cannot see because they are

blind.

Can you see in the darkness without light? It is not possible because the

eyes need light rays before they can see. The unbelievers are in total
darkness. They are in a spiritual prison. This prison is invisible because

they cannot see. Some unbelievers are in the prison of fornication, lust,

pride, murder, unforgiveness, carnality, and different prisons.

God needs us to speak the Word to them to enable them to receive

salvation (deliverance). God will never do something we can do. If you

don’t bathe, you will smell. If you don’t rest, you will be depressed. If you

don’t eat, you will starve. God will never feed you if you can feed yourself

because He gave you the mind, mouth, ear, hands, and organs to enable

you to function.

God is always seeking for a man to stand in the gap because we are His
tools. Let’s read from the Word.

AND I SOUGHT FOR A MAN AMONG THEM, THAT SHOULD MAKE

UP THE HEDGE, AND STAND IN THE GAP BEFORE ME FOR THE

LAND, THAT I SHOULD NOT DESTROY IT: BUT I FOUND NONE.

Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I have consumed

them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon

their heads, saith the Lord GOD.

Ezekiel 22:30-31

Before God could destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, He told

Abraham about it. Abraham stood in the gap for Sodom and

Gomorrah (See Genesis 18:23-32).

Before God could destroy the wicked people of Nineveh, He

confronted Jonah. Jonah preached the good news to the people

of Nineveh. When the people of Nineveh repented, God showed

them mercy (See the book of Jonah in the Holy Bible).

Daniel prayed through the prophecy of Prophet Jeremiah, and

God acted (See Daniel chapter nine in the Holy Bible).

Moses interceded for the Israelites, and God changed His mind.

(See Numbers 16:20-22;21:7; Deuteronomy 33:6-17; Psalm

106:23).

Abraham prayed for Abimelech, and God had mercy on Him

(See Genesis 20:17-18)

David prayed for the Israelites, and God showed them mercy

(See 2 Samuel 24:17).

Ezra fasted and prayed for the Israelites, and God showed

mercy on them (See Ezra 9:5-15).

Nehemiah stood in the gap for the afflicted Jews. The King

granted Nehemiah permission to build the walls for Jerusalem.

The oppressed Jews were free because Nehemiah fasted and

prayed (See the book of Nehemiah in the Holy Bible).

Prophet Jeremiah cried and fasted for the Israelites, and God

had mercy on them (See Jeremiah 14:7-22).

Apostle Paul interceded for the church day and night because

they needed the power of God to overcome their enemies.

God commands us through the writing of Apostle Paul to

intercede for the nation and every leadership (See 1 Timothy

2:1-3).

There are some things beyond our strength and capacity. This is where He

sends His angels to assist us. The Holy Spirit assists us when we pray in

the Spirit (See Romans 8:26-27). The devil is an evil entity who has no

sympathy for the weak. He came to steal, kill, and destroy (See John

10:10). Our responsibility is to preach the Word to unbelievers and

establish the believers in the faith. The devil works with demons. These

demons work through the elements (earth, air, water, and fire), animals,

and human agents.

The enemy's agenda is to destroy God's plan for our lives. Our mandate as

Christians is to help the unbelievers because they have no protection. The

enemy can attack them.

This is one reason we see and hear of war, sickness, murder, and evil in a

different parts of the world. Satan and his demons are the initiators of

these evils. They use human beings to enforce their plans.

The unbelievers live at the mercies of these treacherous beings. Christians

have power over every force of darkness, and it is our mandate to help
them. Let’s read from the Word.

And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their
synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every

sickness and every disease among the people.

But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them,

because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no

shepherd.

Matthew 9:35-36

Jesus Christ moved with compassion when He saw the unsaved people.
The people were in great danger because they were no protectors. Most
often, a shepherd guards the life of the sheep. We are the shepherds of the

world. Without us, the wolves (Satan and his agents) will destroy them.

If we are followers of Jesus Christ, let us walk on the path of Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ had compassion for the unbelievers; therefore, we should also
have compassion for the unbelievers and pray for them.

And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

Hebrews 9:27

Repentance is not available in the dead's land. It is only those alive who

have the chance to repent. Are you ready to save souls before they die?
CHAPTER THREE

THE GREAT COMMISSION

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me
in heaven and in earth.

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the

Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you:

and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Matthew 28:18-20

Preaching the good news is mandatory under the grace dispensation. Every

Christian must be a soul winner. We must not leave the gospel to only
Apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. We must come

together as one because the harvest is too large.

We need more laborer’s in the vineyard because sinners increase daily

(See Matthew 9:35-38). The pleasure of sin makes sin abound in the

world. People love to gratify the desire of the flesh.

It is tough to find a Christian winning souls these days because the world

is too occupied with worldly things. Jesus said the Heavenly Father has

given all power unto Him in heaven and on earth. Jesus Christ lives in us
in the person of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, we have power in Heaven and

Earth (See Luke 10:19). We have power over every force of darkness.

Don’t limit yourself because the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords live

in you. (See 1 John 4:4). Come out from your comfort zone and preach the

Word to the perishing souls.

Preach the Word, teach the Word, and follow up on the souls because they

are precious to God. If the souls were not valuable to God, Jesus Christ

would never have commanded us to go out into the world to preach. Some

unbelievers will reject, oppose, and disagree with you when you preach the

Word. That should not discourage you.

Some will insult, mock, and make fun of you. Never allow their criticism

and opposition to limit your faith. Obey the Word of Jesus Christ.

Your family can be a comfort zone.

Your friends can be your comfort zone.

Your work can be your comfort zone.

The movies and games can be your comfort zone.

Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him

deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his

life for my sake shall find it.

Matthew 16:24-25

If you love your life more than Jesus Christ, you cannot follow Jesus

Christ. Your love for God must exceed every love you have for

humankind. You must love God more than you love yourself (See Matthew

22:36-38). You must be a hard follower of Jesus Christ. Determine in your

heart to follow the Lord no matter the opposition and the persecution from

the world.

Some of my friends and loved ones have become my enemies; because I

am into the ministry of God. There are some things I have eliminated from

my life because they limit me in the Lord. There are some friends you
must not equally yoke with because they are torn in your flesh (See 2

Corinthians 6:14-18, Psalm 1:1-3). If you don’t apply wisdom in that

friendship, they will restrict you in your Christian life.

He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he

that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of

me.
He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake

shall find it.

Matthew 10:37-39

If you love your parents more than Jesus Christ, we disqualify

you as a disciple of Jesus Christ.

If you love your friends more than Jesus Christ, we disqualify

you as a disciple of Jesus Christ.

If you love your life more than Jesus Christ, we disqualify you

as a disciple of Jesus Christ.

If you love the things of the world more than Jesus Christ, we
disqualify you as a disciple of Jesus Christ.

If you love your community more than Jesus Christ, we

disqualify you as a disciple of Jesus Christ.

If you love your wife more than Jesus Christ, we disqualify you

as a disciple of Jesus Christ.

If you love your husband more than Jesus Christ, we disqualify

you as a disciple of Jesus Christ.

If you love your job more than Jesus Christ, we disqualify you

as a disciple of Jesus Christ.

If you love anything more than Jesus Christ, we disqualify you

as a disciple of Jesus Christ.

So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas,

lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou

knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.

He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou

me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith

unto him, Feed my sheep.

He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me?

Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou

me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest

that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

John 21:15-17

Do you love Jesus Christ?

If you love Jesus Christ, some souls are perishing in your

community; win them for Christ Jesus.

There are some souls at the workplace; win them for Jesus

Christ.

There are some souls in your home; win them for Jesus Christ.

There are some souls at the lecture hall; win them for Jesus

Christ.

There are some souls in the church; win them for Jesus Christ.
You have unsaved friends; win them for Jesus Christ.

Are you sure of your salvation? (Find out in chapter five).

CHAPTER FOUR

THE PERSUASION STRATEGY

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one
may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done,
whether it be good or bad.

KNOWING THEREFORE THE TERROR OF THE LORD, WE

PERSUADE MEN; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also

are made manifest in your consciences.

2 Corinthians 5:10-11

Some unbelievers have decided not to repent because of their hardened

hearts. These sinners are wicked in their hearts and actions. They will
never accept corrections because most of them are possessed by evil

spirits (See Acts 19:13-18). Such people need Christians full of the Holy

Ghost (anointing) because, without the power of the Holy Ghost, they will

never repent.

Pray more in the Spirit because their spirit can challenge you when you
preach the good news to them. They can manipulate you whiles you preach

to them. If you are a young Christian and approach them, they can seduce

you into fornication.

I have encountered several of them in my evangelism. God granted me

grace and helped me overcome these hardened and possessed unbelievers

because the Word is active in my spirit. You should evangelize in groups

because it will help you avoid the traps of the enemy.

Apostle Paul made a powerful statement. He said, "Knowing the terror of

God," so God is terrible (See Deuteronomy 7:21;10:17, Nehemiah 1:5).

The judgment of God is without mercy.

God killed His beloved Son (Jesus Christ), so we could get salvation.

Rejecting Jesus Christ activates the wrath of God. Sinners spat on Jesus

Christ; they slapped Him. His followers rejected Him. The ungodly judged
him. He was beaten and nailed to the cross; His sweat became a clot of

blood. He was bruised and chastised because God wanted to save us (See

Isaiah 53 in the Holy Bible).

When God looks at the injustice done to His beloved Son (Jesus Christ),

anger kindles in His heart. Because He loved us, He allowed sinful men to

crucify Him. On Judgement day, He will pour out His wrath on those who

rejected His sacrifice (Jesus Christ). Our works (books written, souls we

have won, spiritual songs, and our labour of love) will pass through the

holy fire (See 1 Corinthians 3:13-15).

Apostle Paul made another profound statement “We persuade men.” We

have to convince some wicked sinners because until we apply force, such

people will never accept Jesus Christ. If Apostle Paul persuaded men to

receive salvation, who are we to joke with soul winning. Let us read from

the Word.

Galatians 4:19 My little children, of WHOM I TRAVAIL IN BIRTH

AGAIN UNTIL CHRIST BE FORMED IN YOU,

After winning the souls for Jesus Christ, we have to intercede for them so

that the Holy Spirit will take absolute control over their life. It is not only

about preaching; we have to dedicate our time and pray for them earnestly

so that the Holy Spirit will strengthen them.

CHAPTER FIVE

WORKING OUT SALVATION

Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence

only, but now much more in my absence, WORK OUT YOUR OWN
SALVATION WITH FEAR AND TREMBLING.

For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good

pleasure.

Philippians 2:12-13.

Preaching the Word to others without the assurance of our salvation is a

great mistake. We have to work out our salvation by submitting our will to

the Holy Spirit. We must walk and live in the light of the Word.

The Christian is like a hunter in the bush. Any wild animal can attack the

hunter if he is not protected. We must put on the whole armour of God

because the enemy will never submit without a fight (See Ephesians 6:10-

18).

Satan and his minions will fight us when we win souls for Jesus Christ.

The enemy will use our closest friends and the unbelievers to hurt and

offend us. We have to grow the fruit of the Holy Spirit by walking and
living in the love of Jesus Christ. Get my book titled “How to Walk and

Live in the Spirit” for a more profound revelation.

We have to watch and pray. We must resist the enemy by faith because it

takes faith, vigilance, the Word, and prayer to break the enemy's weapons

(See 1 Peter 5:8-9). Know these truths.

The Holy Spirit will guide us when we submit to the Word.

The Holy Spirit will help us when we submit to the Word.

The Holy Spirit will assist us when we pray in the Spirit.

The Holy Spirit will sharpen us when we feed on the Word.

The Holy Spirit will empower us when we wait on the Lord.

The Holy Spirit will teach us when we meditate on the Word.

The Holy Spirit will sharpen our spiritual senses when we

connect with the Word.

The Holy Spirit will renew our strength when we wait on the

Lord through fasting and prayers.

The Holy Spirit will give us grace when we humble ourselves.

The Holy Spirit will protect us from all the enemy's attacks
when we declare the Word.

The Christian is like a good Samaritan pulling someone out of a river. If

you are not strong enough, the person drowning will pull you inside the
river. A word to the wise is enough.
CHAPTER SIX

THE TEMPORAL GLORY

Death is inevitable to every living soul. Animals die, plants die, the tree

dries up and dies.

Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble.

He cometh forth like a flower, and is cut down: he fleeth also as a shadow,
and continueth not.

And dost thou open thine eyes upon such an one, and bringest me into
judgment with thee?

Job 14:1-3

Our days on earth are too short to play around. We shall die one day. A
time will come when we will be no more. Our body will perish on the

earth, but our spirit and soul will continue to live. A wise person will

invest in his spirit and soul because the body has a limited time to live on

earth. The cars, airplanes, ships, houses, mansions, and other worldly
things will perish one day.

This does not mean we should not build houses and roads; we must build

because of the future generation. We must be careful we don’t lust after

these temporal things because they will perish. Thieves can break in to
steal an acquired property. A natural disaster can destroy the earthly things
we have acquired (See Job chapter one in the Holy Bible). A wise person

will invest in spiritual blessings because they are eternal.

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth

corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust
doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

Matthew 6:19-20

There is no end to spiritual blessings. They are yours, and nobody can take

them from you.

For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his
own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Matthew 16:26

Jesus said, what shall it profit us when we gain the whole world and lose

our soul. Great men and women have died and left their wealth. We came

empty, and we shall depart empty. We were born empty, and we shall

depart empty. The only thing that can never be taken away from us is our

spiritual blessings. These spiritual blessings comprise the number of souls

we have won into the kingdom of God, our labour of love in the house of

God, and to other people.

The poor man is a soul, and he is precious to God.

The rich man is a soul, and he is precious to God.

The blind man is a soul, and he is precious to God.

The lame is a soul, and he is precious to God.

The literate is a soul, and he is precious to God.

The illiterate is a soul, and he is precious to God

The older man is a soul, and he is precious to God.

The young man is a soul, and he is precious to God.

A SOUL IS A SOUL, AND THEY ARE PRECIOUS TO GOD!

Win souls for Jesus Christ.
