Electrotherapy I
Ma’am Asifa
Torticollis
Treatment Technique:
Use two parallel rows of points on either side of the spine.
Points should be spaced 2 cm apart.
Treat distally from C1 (likely the first cervical vertebra).
Treat in a spiral around the focus of the spasm, which may be determined by
palpation.
Cautions:
Preferably use GENTLE mode in the first and second sessions, especially in
sensitive patients.
Keep the treatment strictly to the dorsal paravertebral muscles.
Recommended Timetable:
In the first week, recommend 3 sessions.
Subsequent sessions should be based on the patient's needs.
If possible, start treatment immediately after the symptoms appear.
Recommended Supplementary Therapy:
After Rebox therapy, recommend gentle manual massage.
Follow up with gentle exercises.
Mandibular Muscular Spasm
Treatment:
Treat in a spiral line around the mandibulo-maxillar joint.
Begin approximately 3 cm from the joint.
Maintain a distance of approximately 15 mm between points during the treatment.
End the spiral in the center of the joint.
In the center of the joint, use a specific distance of 4 - 5 mm between points.
Cautions:
Limit the treatment to a maximum of 30 points in the described spiral around the
joint.
In the first session, also treat the three branches of the trigeminal nerve.
Use GENTLE mode if necessary, emphasizing a cautious approach.
Recommended Timetable:
For the first three days, treat twice a day.
For the next four days, reduce the frequency to once a day.
In the second week, increase the frequency to 4x - 5x.
In the third week, reduce the frequency to 2x.
Check progress after two weeks.
Sprained Ankle
Treatment:
Starting 48 hours: 10-minute Rebox meetings at regular intervals with rest and
pressure.
Progress to fifteen-minute meetings with lower leg developments, changing per
proficient counsel.
Routine checking required; counsel experts for customized changes.
Caution
Keep away from Rebox with painful injuries or indications of lower leg disease.
Recommended Timetable:
Initial 48 hours: Ice for 10 minutes like clockwork, combined with rest, height,
and pressure.
Bit by bit increment icing to 15, 20, and 25 minutes, lining up with endorsed
works out.
Keep a 30-minute icing meeting by week 4, bit by bit once again introducing
ordinary exercises.
Lateral Ligament Damage (Knee)
Treatment:
Use 3 - 4 rows of points from proximal to distal.
Space points 2 - 3 cm apart within each row.
Then, treat in a spiral around the problem area with a distance of points set at 0.5
- 1 cm.
Cautions:
Do not apply Rebox in states with acute hyperemia (e.g., immediately after
surgery).
Recommended Timetable:
In the first week, recommend treatment 2x - 3x.
In the second week, reduce the frequency to 2x.
Similarly, in the third and fourth weeks, maintain a frequency of 2x.
