Summary of Guidelines

 All the articles are to be written in the SurferSeo Editor and also in Google Docs, in which all
the following details are mentioned:
 Word Limit (Guidelines Section of Surfer SEO)
 Keywords (Guidelines Section of Surfer SEO)
 All the Headings and Sub-headings (Brief Section of Surfer SEO)

Some mandatory requirements:

1. Grammarly check is compulsory. (At least a 99 Grammarly Score is expected). A plagiarism

check is also mandatory.
2. Please refer to some references like Freshbooks or similar competitors to understand the
depth of the articles etc.
3. Refer to the articles published on the Akounto Blog to understand the direct writing style.
4. Hyperlinks
1. Add hyperlinks only after the first 500 words. Do not use hyperlinks in the first
500 words.
2. Add only two hyperlinks, preferably from Govt. websites, regulatory bodies, or
IRS.
3. Do not use any hyperlinks from Investopedia.
5. The last paragraph of the article is related to asking people to either Visit Akounto’s blog
for more information on similar topics or Sign up with Akounto. Please do not write
Akounto in All CAPS. Use sentence case.
6. Write in small paragraphs of at most three lines. Only go beyond three lines in exceptional
cases.
7. Do not write: "In this article you'll learn". We have HTML coding to put the index of all the
headings on the webpage.
8. In case the word limit cannot be met within given H2s, only then add 1 or 2 H2s
9. You can add H3s where needed.
10. No need to provide images.
11. While providing the table in the content (as may be frequently required in accounting
articles), do share the table in Google Doc Link (as there is no feature of adding the table
in Surfer SEO). But you can add the content of the table in SurferSEO for word count and
keyword check and also check in Grammarly.
