Introduction
WARNING
To avoid electric shock or fire, and to ensure safety, do not disassemble, repair, or modify
the machine.
The equipment should not be installed in a place subjected to fumes, steam, high humidity,
or dust particles.
Using the system in an environment in violation of the operating conditions described in the
Manual can cause fire or electric shock.
To avoid damage to the cable, the following actions should never be performed: bending the
cord by force, pulling the cord, or placing it near warm heated equipment.
To avoid electric shock or fire, damaged power supply cords, or loose outlets should not be
used.
To avoid electric shock or fire, the voltages higher or lower than the indicated power supply
voltage should not be used.
To avoid electric shock or fire, power supply cords other than those designated should not
be used.
To avoid system malfunction or unexpected accidents, the mounted cover should never be
opened.
Do not cover up the inlet of this machine. And do not insert a foreign substance.
If the inlet is covered up, an inside will be filled with heat and it could cause fire or failure.
To protect the operator from X-ray radiation, lead panels are installed on the machine.
Do not attempt to remove the lead panels.
If the panels need to be removed, please contact Saki Corporation.
The machine has been designed so the X-ray leakage does not exceed 0.5 μSv/h.
Each person can operate the machine for 2000 hours per year (approximately 40 hours per
week). Do not operate the machine for more than 2000 hours in a year.
(The time is calculated according to dose constraints in public exposure (1 mSv per year)
indicated in the 2007 recommendations of the ICRP.)
The machine generates strong magnetic forces.
All persons who may be affected by strong magnetic forces, such as persons wearing
medical implants (e.g., pace makers), do not put the body into the inspection machine.
Otherwise, devices may malfunction or be broken due to the strong magnetic forces.
Lead is a harmful substance.
Although the lead panels are coated, a customer should handle them with care.
Ensure that the local governmentʼs safety relevant rules, regulations, procedures and laws
applied to the operation of X-ray equipments are observed.
Operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the machine should be performed by
trained personnel.
If water or foreign substances goes inside the machine, first of all, shut off the power supply;
extract the power supply cord and remove the connection cable from the main machine.
Please consult with Saki Corporation or our representatives.
