It is requested that subject scheme is of important nature since it caters to over 70,000 passengers on daily basis moving to and from 192 locations across the province. The GBS was established in 1962 and has had bare minimum development work done in the past. Owing to this the facilities, infrastructure and general works require complete overhaul for better service delivery fo the public. 2 ‘Master Plan for comprehensive development of the entire land parcel currently utilized by GBS along with allied facilities and road infrastructure has been developed against an estimated cost of Rs.9.8 billion. The development will be done in a phased manner so os fo reduce disturbance in services delivery 3. Chief Minister is requested to allow placement of scheme “REVAMPING OF GENERAL BUS STAND BADAMI BAGH LAHORE” costing Rs.9.8 billion before standing committee of cabinet on Finance & Development forits approval corinclusion in ADP 2023-24, alongwith provision of Rs.9.8 billion funds during current 06 months budget of fiscal year 2023-24, subject to concurrence of ECP. Whereas, permission to execute subject scheme in concurrence with ECP vide letter No. 312 dated 09.12.2023 (copy attached) is forwarded to your kind office. 4 In view of foregoing, itis requested that special permission / approval may be accorded for inclusion of subject scheme in ADP 2023-24 with cost Rs.9.8 billion and provision of funds Rs.4.824 billion for phase- to initiate tendering process and to execute this scheme at earliest. 5.
