 In order to ensure the device being operated normally, prolong service life
and reliability, it is required to operate correctly, in the mean time, pay attention
as follows:

1. Maintenance to Hydraulic System

Hydraulic system is an important part of BOP Lifting & Moving Device. So
it is required to operate and maintain correctly to prolong service life, to ensure
working reliably. Pay attention to following breakdown probably to meet:
1.1 Pollution of Hydraulic Oil
Pollution of hydraulic oil means that air, water and every condensate such
as metal powder, dust and particle etc.,are mixed into the oil, which enhances
wearing between relative moving components, as a result, hydraulic
components can not work normally.
a. Thoroughly clean line for maintenance.
b. It is forbidden to wipe with fibrous fabric such as cotton yarn when replacing
all kinds of hydraulic components.
c. Periodically replace hydraulic oil，generally, after more than total 10000
working hours, it needs to replace oil. Under bad working condition, reduce
working hours and replace oil in time.
1.2 Air mixed into Hydraulic System
Keep sealing at connecting position on adapter, otherwise air is absorbed
into hydraulic system and leads to hydraulic components working abnormally.
Check whether combined sealing gasket at connecting position is damaged or
not.
During hydraulic system working, routine inspection and periodical
inspection is necessary. Observe abnormal change of flow, pressure, oil
temperature and noise in the system, inspect working condition of lifting
hydraulic cylinder and driving motor. Pay attention to leakage and abnormal
shake in oil line of whole system.

2. Maintenance to mechanical system

2.1 Wheel
It is not allowed to remain something on the rail, there are no deformation
on guide rail. Wheel should touch the surface of the guide rail. If wearing of
wheel tread is up to 15% of the original thickness of wheel tread, replace at
once.

 2.2 Pulley device
There are no cracks on the pulley groove surface of pulley device.
Wearing should be within allowed range. There are no damages on wheel rim,
no loosening on back plate bolt. Fill lubricating oil periodically. When pulley
device is worn and deformed seriously, please replace at once.
Please refer to GB6067.1-2010《Safety Rules for Lifting Appliances 1st Part
General 4.2.5.3》
2.3 Steel wire rope
End of the steel wire rope must be fixed reliably, no twist, burn, break and
obvious loosening and corrosion etc., otherwise replace at once. The steel
wire rope must be greased.
Please refer to API RP 9B Recommended method for Application,
Maintenance and Operation of Steel Wire Rope Used for Oil Field Working. 3.4
2.4 Gear
Surface of exposed gear must be greased periodically; closed gear must
be periodically lubricated according to the Lubricating Drawing. There is no
crack, snaggletooth on the tooth part. Corrosion points on the gear surface do
not exceed the stipulated.

3.Lubricate
During device working, periodically lubricate positions of the device
shown on the Lubricating Drawing to ensure the device working normally.
