INTRODUCTION OF KINGFISHER AIRLINE:


Kingfisher Airline was an airline group based in India. It was established in 2003 and started it’s
commercial operation in 2005. Until December 2011, it has second largest share in India’s
domestic air travel market. They used multiple promotional techniques through media.
In this case study king Fisher marketing techniques are ae follow:
1. Courteous Service at Airport:
The guest can start noticing the difference from other flights the moment they arrive at
the airport. A valet receives as they get off their car’s . He take their bags and lead to
check counter.

2. Minimum time in Queue:


King Fisher ensure that guest spend minimum time in the queue before Check in counter.
Their employee welcome and promptly issues boarding passes which makes convenience
for all passengers.

3. Personalized Entertainment:
All aircrafts of kingfisher are equipped with LCD screens behind every seat to offer
entertainment to every guest.

4. Offering more legroom:


It’s Airbus A320s have wider bodies . These flights offer more legroom and elbow space,
adding comfort for Passengers. The business class seats are more luxurious, they have
plush leather seats and recline angle up-to 125 degree

5. Delicacies at Cuisine:
The cuisine include delicacies like Norwegian smoked Salmon, Lobsters and fresh
Cappuccino that tempt every guest to taste it.
Kingfisher aims at delighting it’s guest in terms of everything, comfort entertainment,
cuisine. They tried to built convenience in every step and promises a safe journey to it’s
passengers.
