In today's competitive world, where everyone is rushing to win; time

management has become the difficult task to achieve. Every loose and win is
linked with time management. Procrastination is the biggest factor that creates
hurdles while setting priorities. With planning, strong willpower, and clear
goals, one can win in managing time. Life is measured in time, so those who
master the use and allocation of time, can master the life. (write a
comprehensive Thesis statement that shall cover all dimensions of the essay)
Procrastination is an all-time reason to lack time management. It
becomes a habit to delay work and tasks, and one becomes used to it. With
strong will-power and planning, one can combat it because it is said, “ Where
there is a will, there is a way.” Planning and prioritising tasks also helps (help) in
falling prey to procrastination, but it is important to make plans real. As Tom
Greening said, “ All time management begins with planning.”
The relation between time management and success is very co- relating.
The people who know the importance of time, manage their time accordingly.
This improves their decision making, productivity and finally lead to high
performance, whether it is personal or professional life. Successful people
prioritize their tasks based on importance and urgency. Focusing on high-
priority tasks before moving on to less critical ones. This approach is known as
the Eisenhower matrix, and it is one of the most powerful tools for time
management. Successful people know that clear achievable goals are more
likely to be achieved with daily small tasks. Small consistent goals are better
than larger ones. As Miles Davis said, “ Time is not the main thing. It is the only
thing.” (avoid excessive use of quotations, use paraphrasing instead)
There are many strategies for time management that can be employed to
make one able to manage their time effectively and efficiently. One of them is
“promodoro technique”, this strategy suggests working for a set period of time
(usually 25 minutes) and then taking a break. By employing this method, one
can reduce stress and burnout. Another technique is the 80/20 rule or the
Pareto principle; this strategy tells that 80% of the outcome results from 20%
of input. If one identifies the most important tasks list, he/she can work on that
and achieve goals. Lastly, by using tools and technologies, one can track his/her
progress. These include: task management apps and software, and digital
calendars.
In conclusion, time management is the most important task to be
achieved for being successful in today’s fast-moving world. It is all about
fighting with procrastination, strong will-power, planning and prioritising tasks,
and clear goals. Those who are successful know the skill to manage their time
and achieve the most out of the day. As Benjamin Franklin said, “ Lost time is
never found again.” Hence, time management indeed has a key to success.
