ASSIGNMENT-1(DAIGNOSTIC WRITING)

COMM 2000
HARSH WARDHAN SINGH(101503035)
PROFESSOR- MOSTAFA HASRATI

From :- harshwardhan.singh@georgebrown.ca

To :- mostafa.hasrati@georgebrown.ca

Subject: - About the removal of ‘I’ from the assignment.

Dear Mostafa Hasrati

I hope you are well and reading my email. Your recent suggestion for me to use the first-person pronoun
"I" in my projects prompted me to write this response.

I value your suggestions and the time you took to write out instructions for our assignments. We take
note of your issue regarding the use of "I" in written work. To make sure we are on the same page and
can discover the best course of action to satisfy.

'I' can be used in different ways in academic and professional writing, depending on the situation and the
assignment's particular guidelines. In contrast, there are occasions where it's permissible to exclude the
pronoun "I" and keep your tone objective.

Sincerely,

Harsh Wardhan Singh
