NOTICE
Subject: Preliminary Scrutiny Status of candidates in respect of recruitment to 01(01-UR) vacancy of
Sub-Editor (Bengali) in Central Reference Library, Ministry of Culture advertised vide Post
Category No. ER11823 pertaining to Phase-XI/2023/Selection Posts– regarding.

Candidates may please refer to Advertisement Notice No. Phase-XI/2023/Selection Posts dated 06.03.2023
advertising, inter-alia, the post of Sub-Editor (Bengali) in Central Reference Library, Ministry of Culture
advertised vide Post Category No. ER11823. Essential Qualification (EQ) attached to post is as follows:

i) Graduate from recognized University

(ii) Degree in Librarianship or equivalent qualification of a recognized University/Institution

(iii) Not less than 2 years experience of work in big library

(iv) Language proficiency up to Matriculation or equivalent standard in the language concerned

2. The Crucial date for determining of age-limit and possession of Essential Qualifications (EQs)/Experience will
be 01.01.2023 and 27.03.2023 respectively. The Crucial date for claim of SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD/ESM status and
reservation, where not specified otherwise, will be the closing date for receipt of online applications i.e. 27.03.2023.

3. On scrutiny of the hard copies of Applications along with supporting documents received from candidates
declared provisionally qualified in the Computer Based Mode (CBM) of Examination for Phase-XI/2023/Selection
Posts for the post of Sub-Editor (Bengali) on the basis of Essential Qualification and other relevant terms &
conditions of recruitment as mentioned in the Advertisement Notice, the preliminary scrutiny status of the candidates is
attached at ANNEXURE. The list is purely provisional and subject to correction due to any genuine ground viz.
clarification from User/Indenting Department, production of equivalence certificate, error in scrutiny/data etc.

4. If any candidate, who has submitted documents within the stipulated date i.e. 06.10.2023, has any objection
with regard to his/her ineligibility/ground of rejection, he/she may submit his/her grievance/representation to this
Regional Office along with supporting documents through e-mail at recttsscer.wb-dopt@gov.in positively by
21.12.2023 (23:00 hours) mentioning his/her Roll No., Registration No. and Post Code along with self-attested
supporting documents. Any representation received after the last date & time will not be entertained under any
circumstances.

5. Please note that the candidates who have provisionally qualified in the CBM Examination but have failed to
submit hard copies of their applications along with copies of certificates in support of their Age, EQ etc. within the
stipulated date i.e. 06.10.2023 and such other candidates who have not qualified in CBM Examination but have
submitted hard copies and requisite certificates, have not been considered for the captioned recruitment.
