Notes:

Joselu is my other academic network member of choice. We collaborated for over three years
while Rosey, a registered nurse at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, worked with
me. She is also presently enrolled in Walden's PMHNP program. Joselu urged me to go to Walden
for my master's degree. Joselu was my choice since we agreed to do our homework and monitor
the calendar to ensure we did not forget when to turn in assignments and participate in
discussions. Finishing the MSN program successfully is a shared objective for both of us. She will,
therefore, assist me in finishing my MSN program. Individuals who share similar interests and
levels of knowledge can help one another in some way to achieve their desired outcomes.

Ryan was my choice for a professional network supporter. He received his MSN from
Walden University and is currently employed as a mental nurse practitioner. He has been
my mentor for the entire time and is very knowledgeable about mental nursing. I was
inspired to study my MSN at Walden by him. We talked about potential career paths for
NPs. In addition, he consented to serve as my practicum preceptor for my MSN program.
We both talked about creating a support network, and he is doing the same to open doors
