Confidential POI Database creation for MOD-R2 signaling on CDOT switch

FOR MOD-R2 SIGNALING:

 Requirements for the POI database creation at C-DOT switch: -

1. 2 spare TGP nos. (Confirm with the command DISPL-TGP)
2. 2 spare categories to be assigned for above stated TGPs.
3. 2 spare charge rate nos. for the said TGPs.

 Select appropriate card slot for the PCM cable to be terminated in the C-DOT switch.
Insert one DTS card & one DTC card (compatible to the new version of C-DOT) and
equip it with the help of following command.

<EQUIP-TRML-CARD
CARD-TYP : DTK-CAS (4)
CARD-SLT : Card slot taken for the PCM to be terminated (for e.g. 1-1-3-3)
VER : 1
. : default
. : default
<REPEAT/EXECUTE/TERMINATE: E

 If required, un-equip it and equip it again. To un-equip the card, use the following
command.
<UNEQ-TRML-CARD
CARD-SLT : Card slot to be unequipped should be given (for e.g. 1-1-3-3)
<REPEAT/EXECUTE/TERMINATE: E

 Check the status of card or loop by giving following command.

<DISPL-TRML-CARD-STS
CARD-SLT : Provide card slot
<REPEAT/EXECUTE/TERMINATE: E
If the status is OOS-SO, it is break & if it is INS-FRC / INS-NRM, it is looped or through.

 Trunk group creation for NLD calls handling

Create Trunk group: -
<CRE-TGP
TGP-NUM : A no. to be given for TGNO.
TGP-NAME : A specific name to be given for identification of TGNO.
TGP-STA : IC (1)
LIN-SIG : DR2-CAS3 (5)

CARD-TYP : DTK-CAS (6)

CARD-SLT : Selected card slot to be given.
<REPEAT/EXECUTE/TERMINATE: E

And make it in-service by giving following command.

<FRC-TRML-CARD-INS
CARD-TYP : DTK-CAS (6)

TGP-NUM : Created trunk group number for ILD
TGP-NAME : default
<REPEAT/EXECUTE/TERMINATE: E

Note: - The circuit status should be INS-FREE to make the call thru.

 Selection of charge rate no.: -

Go to prompt (IOP5x>) and give following command.
IOP5X> rgen crgrtn2_2
A list of parameters will appear on the screen. Give default values by pressing enter in all the
parameters and execute it & hold the screen by pressing F1 key.
Output will show the various charge rate numbers existing in the switch, out of which two nos.
are selected in such a way that these are not present in this output list.

 Creation of Charge rate no. for 20 seconds: -

<MOD-CRG-RTN
CRG-RTN : A spare no.
TRF-CLS : 1
SRV-TYP : BS1
INI-CRG : 0
PRD-CRG : 1
CRG-PRD : 200
CRG-MOD : PRD-LCL (3)
MET-INFO : MTRD-AEX-NRM-NBP (1-1-2-1)
<REPEAT/EXECUTE/TERMINATE: R

Above step is to be repeated for tariff classes 1 to 12.

*Newly created categories for NLD & ILD POI TGP should also be included.
**Newly created categories for NLD & ILD POI TGP should also be included with proper
charge rate number i.e. 20 sec & 3.1 sec for NLD & ILD cat respectively.

Note: - Repeat above command until all route codes are modified.

 To take CDR on IOP5x> prompt: -

IOP5X> rgen tgcbr2_2

TO DATE : default
FROM TIME : default
TO TIME : default
CALLING NO : default
CALLED NO : default
IC-TGP : NLD trunk group number

 If CDR is shown saying the reason “no records found” promptly as you give the input,
just check for the year field in the script file of tgcbr2_2 and change it as per requirement
as below.

IOP5X> cd
IOP5X> cd rgen
IOP5X> vi tgcbr2_2 - It will open the script file tgcbr2_2 in VI editor.

 Go to the proper line in which the date is mentioned in the format “ddmm05” or
“ddmm06” by pressing key “j” (To bring cursor downwards press “j” key and “k” to
go upwards). Then take the cursor to the position of 5 or 6 by pressing key “l” (key “l”
to move the cursor right and “h” to move it left) and replace the character by pressing
“r7” (replace old value by 7 for year 2007 and “r8” for year 2008). Then, press
“:wq” and enter; it will save the file and quit. And run the above given command to get
CDR in the required format.

 If CDR is not generated, just remove the trunk group from billing and add it again under
billing by the command REM-TGP-BLG & ADD-TGP-BLG. It will start recording the
CDR.
