Image theatre

Image of emotion flow (15 minutes)

1. Four points of time: 9am, 12pm, 3pm, 6pm.
2. Emotions of that four points of time.
3. Still images to represent these four emotions.
4. Change the still image one by one.
5. Make transition between these four still images.
6. Divided 29 students into two halves, one group performs and the other group
observes.
7. Then share:
a. What do you see?
b. What do you hear?
c. What do you feel?
d. What do you associate?

Forest of name (45 minutes)

1. 4-5 students into a group.
2. Each of them to share their name and something about their name, e.g. The meaning
of name of current societal situation. (5 minutes)
3. Other group members and the teller response with a still image and a sound.
Therefore, each name will have 5 sets of still image.(10 minutes)
4. Each group takes turn perform their 5 set of still image. (30 minutes)
5. Other groups share the followings:
a. What do you see?
b. What do you hear?
c. What do you feel?
d. What do you associate?

Debrief
1. Subjectivities and embodiment.
2. The limits of words and possibilities of discursive through arts.
3. Representation / reflection of everyday life oppression.
4. Creative resistance and empowerment.
5. Encoding and decoding.
