i. Explain physical health education factual, procedural and conceptual knowledge about
floorball rules
Teams of six players (five field players and a goalie) on each side compete on a hard, flat pitch. The
aim of the game is to score more goals than the other side by using a stick to strike a light plastic ball
into their net.
There are six players on the field for each team five players in the outfield and a goalie. Players use a
stick that is between 92 and 105 cm long and a plastic ball . The game is played on a 40 meter long by
20 meter wide square court. On either side of the court are the goals.
A fight in the middle of the court signals the start of the match. By kicking or passing the ball with
their sticks, players move the ball. The aim of the game is to score by kicking the ball into the goal of
the opposite team.
A goal is scored when the ball passes between the goalposts, under the crossbar, and across the goal
line.
ii. apply physical and health education knowledge to analyse issues and solve problems witch

Participating in multi-muscular physical training that deals with the specific physical demands of the
sport is important to properly prepare for playing floorball. Here are some examples of how to use
information from physical education and health education to assess problems and find solutions
related to floorball multi-muscular physical preparation.
It's important to understand the sport's particular physical requirements. For example, floorball
requires muscular endurance, quickness, flexibility, and cardiovascular endurance.
You can find areas of weakness that your physical preparation program needs to address. For example,
you might need to concentrate on increasing your heart rate with exercises like jogging cycling, or
sprinting if you have weak cardiovascular endurance. You can create a thorough physical preparation
program that includes workouts to increase cardiovascular endurance, quickness, responsiveness,
power, and muscle endurance based on your understanding of the physical demands of floorball and
your weakness. This might include a mix of exercises including gymnastics, weight training, and
training for the heart.
iii. apply physical and health terminology effectively to communicate your understanding of
rules and body work during the game, use proper names of muscles and equipment.
For this sport you have to be strong and stable, you need strong leg muscles including the quadriceps,
hamstrings, and calf muscles are important.
Players have to have precision and strength when passing, shooting, and blocking. These exercises
include a lot of usage of the chest, triceps, biceps, and forearm muscles.
In conclusion, the muscles involved in this activity are similar to those used when playing hockey and
those used when simply running.
i. design, explain and justify plans to improve physical performance according floorball game
basing on your experience from previous lessons
In order to get the best results in playing floorball there are several things that the player needs to
practice. First thing is dribbling - simply a step right and then step left (no need to run). Train
dribbling, both hockey and floorball one.
Next thing that one can do is take care of one’s posture. It demands to have a straight back during the
game and lower the view only by using legs (bending them). Crucial is to properly hold the stick
(dominant hand on the mid-section, and the other hand on the top) without that it is really hard to
improve.
ii. analyse and evaluate the effectiveness of a plan based on the outcome – improvement of your
floorball game skills
Taking under consideration all of the above written exercises and rules the effectiveness of this plan is
big. If the instructions are followed correctly the outcome should be satisfying and improvement
noticeable.
By dribbling the ball one can improve their response time and skills in handling the ball without
failure. It is surely useful during the real game as the reaction time is crucial to not lose the ball to
another player.
With the correction of one’s posture the game can simply get easier for the player and less tiring. By
following the instructions above one’s back will be relieved and there will be more strength in the
body to commit to the game. With the right holding of a stick the movement of the ball will indeed be
quicker and more simple as with this hand setting one has as much control as one can have.
