3. Real classroom objects (Realia if available)

4. Worksheets with pictures of classroom objects and corresponding numbers

5. Small cards with the names of objects written on them

Duration: Approximately 60 minutes

Step 1: Introduction (10 minutes)

 Begin by greeting the students and introducing yourself.

 Have a brief discussion about numbers in their native languages to create a connection.

 Show flashcards with numbers (1-20) and have them repeat after you.

Step 2: Introduce Classroom Objects (15 minutes)

 Show flashcards with common classroom objects and say the names out loud. Encourage students to repeat
after you.

 If possible, bring in real objects from the classroom and have the students name them in English.

 Use gestures and body language to help convey the meaning of the words.

Step 3: Counting Practice (15 minutes)

 Write numbers 1-10 on the board and say them out loud, then have the students repeat.

 Point to objects in the classroom and ask the students to count them in English.

 Encourage them to use complete sentences, e.g., "There are three chairs."

Step 4: Asking Questions (10 minutes)

 Teach the students how to ask simple questions, e.g., "How many pencils are there?"

 Practice asking and answering questions about objects in the classroom.

 Provide guidance and correct their pronunciation as needed.

Step 5: Partner Activity (10 minutes)

 Pair up the students and give each pair a set of small cards with object names written on them.

 One student asks the other, "How many [object]s are there?" and the other student responds.

 They can take turns asking and answering.

Step 6: Worksheet Activity (10 minutes)

 Distribute worksheets with pictures of classroom objects and numbers.

 Instruct the students to write the correct number next to each object.

Step 7: Review and Homework (5 minutes)

 Review what they've learned about counting and asking questions.

 Assign simple homework, such as writing down the names of objects they find at home and counting them.

Additional Tips:

 Be patient and encouraging, especially since they are beginners.

 Use visual aids and gestures to reinforce learning.

 Incorporate games and activities to make learning more engaging.

 Encourage them to practice outside of class whenever possible.
