means to advance and deal with necessary improvements to continue learning
and render quality education to our BIDA learners.

The Learning Action Cell (LAC) on "Effective Strategies in Providing

Constructive Feedback" is a vital initiative that aims to address several
compelling reasons for its necessity. Providing constructive feedback is an
essential component of both the educational and professional development
contexts, and its significance cannot be overstated.
First and foremost, this activity needs to be conducted to enhance

learning outcomes significantly. Constructive feedback plays a pivotal role in
shaping the educational journey of learners, be it in a classroom or a
workplace. However, the effectiveness of feedback varies widely, and there is
often a lack of understanding regarding how to provide feedback that is not
only constructive but also timely and accurate. This LAC is, therefore,
indispensable in equipping educators, mentors, and trainers with the
essential strategies for delivering feedback that is impactful, meaningful, and
conducive to improved learner performance.
Furthermore, the activity seeks to address common challenges that

persist in educational and professional settings. In many instances, feedback
processes are hindered by issues such as inconsistency, lack of clarity, or
untimely delivery. Educators and mentors may not have received
comprehensive training in the art of providing effective feedback, which
results in feedback that might be vague or irrelevant. The LAC intends to
rectify these issues by providing participants with the knowledge and skills
to overcome these challenges, ultimately ensuring that learners benefit from
an environment where constructive feedback is an integral part of their
development.
Additionally, this LAC is poised to foster a culture of continuous

improvement. It not only aims to enhance the learning experience for
learners but also highlights the value of feedback in various educational and
professional settings. By addressing the issues related to feedback quality
and delivery, the LAC contributes to a more informed and responsive
educational and professional community, fostering an environment where all
stakeholders appreciate and actively participate in the feedback process,
ultimately leading to improved performance, higher achievement, and a
commitment to lifelong learning.
OBJECTIVES / EXPECTED OUTPUT:
Objectives:
1. To improve the feedback-giving skills of educators by teaching them
effective strategies for providing constructive feedback.
2. To ensure that learners receive feedback that is timely and accurate,
with the aim of enhancing their performance and learning outcomes.

3. To improve the communication skills of educators focusing on clarity,

empathy, and active listening when providing feedback.
4. To help educators understand the importance of adapting their
teaching methods and content delivery based on the feedback received
from learners.
Expected Output:
1. Action plans developed by participants detailing how they intend to
apply the feedback strategies in their specific roles.
2. Statements from participants pledging their commitment to applying
the feedback strategies they've learned in their educational or
professional roles.
3. Evaluation forms or surveys completed by participants to provide
feedback on the LAC session's content, delivery, and impact.
