Celebrating such a significant occasion was joyful and draining at the same time.

As the
leader of the education department and the student body organization, we were assigned this
responsibility. when we held three meetings to finalize the program's flow and ensure that everything
was going as planned. We talk about the date of the event, the possibility of a dress code, the six station
games for our most beloved education students, the division of meals by section or year level, and the
space set out for their booths.

SBO was at the school on December 10, 2023, at 9:00 a.m., preparing banderitas and other
decorations in the field as they waited for the ROTC to end their session. The time was 6:30 p.m., when
we began setting up the stage and creating the designs for our "education day," in collaboration with
the class presidents who were also setting up their stunning booths. While decorating, some of the
students were practicing their intermission performance for the “Educ got Talent”. As soon as we were
done, we cleaned up because it was getting close to 11:00 p.m.

When December 11, 2023, finally arrived, we set up the crowns, medals, sashes, and
certificates on the table and got ready for the final rehearsal for Mr. and Mrs. CoEd 2023. At 9:00 a.m.,
the program began, startled the school president with a dance performed by fourth-year students and
SBO officers during intermission, and quickly introduced a happy birthday song. Second, the newly
elected Student Body Organization, taking the oath of responsibility.

When all of the education students perform in front of everyone, they share their thoughts and
talents through dancing, singing, and even an interpretive dance. Everyone was extremely busy in their
booths, especially enjoying the wedding booth because it was their chance to interact with their crush
or special someone, even in the jail booth, and it was sort of hilarious because you can't get out without
your friends paying for it first. A dedication booth where all students write their messages and
dedicate them to someone special to them; also a freedom booth wherein you can say whatever you
want without using your name; and when I go to that booth, there is a note that caught my attention:
“Ang wishlist ko ngayong pasko ay bagong lalamunan at likod.” I can relate to what she said because,
as an education student, we use our voice in every demo and when preparing our instructional material.
One of the highlights of the event was Mr. and Mrs. CoEd 2023, wherein the participants were
teachers in the Education Department. And the winners are Mr. Philip Loyola and Ms. Christle Apdua-
Tristle, our Mr. and Ms. CoEd 2023. We also announced whose booth is the best, which is the 4th year,
our beloved seniors Barbie photo booth, and the winner in Educ Got Talent was the 3rd year section
one. I’m one of the performers, “mga palaboy laboy sa lansangan,” and I expressed my appreciation to
our most organized classroom and responsible presidents. We know how hard it is to be a leader,
especially if some of our classmates are stubborn. We know their feelings, and we wanted to recognize
their efforts to always be attentive to every announcement and cooperate with us in every event.

Awarding to our amazing athletes who perform their best during the Sport Fest. The
Education Department was champion in volleyball girls, badminton boys and girls, and doubles. Our
volleyball boys, who got the silver medals; chess boys and girls; bronze medals for our basketball
teams; and tug of war team. These education students who participated gave their best, showed
dedication, and showed passion in every sport, which was heartwarming. Seeing them try out, practice
every Saturday, and win it is making my heart happy; it's like “the tiredness and staying awake are
worth it.”.

And, of course, to our SBO officers who handle and prepare the events for our education students. A
big appreciation for our tiredness, staying awake, coming home late, and organizing all the events; it
was really exhausting and draining to the point where we skipped our meals just to finish on time the
tasks that were assigned to us. We are not complaining about this; I know it is normal to feel this,
although we know that it is associated with being the leader of the education department. I'm just so
proud of them, of course to myself. Especially to our SBO adviser, Mr. Nikon Dasig, who is
shouldering everything. He was an industrious and amazing person for carrying us into this, for
lecturing, helping, and guiding us to be a better leader and a better version of ourselves. Without him
and the faculty members of Education it won't be a successful and wonderful event.
