The death of Jake’s Brother was the beginning of the whole series of events filled with

beauty and ugliness. Jake’s brother, Tommy Sully signed a significant contract with the
Avatar program, because of his death, Jake Sully was sent as a replacement to the
exploration of Pandora Moon. There, Jake met various persons who play a huge part in the
program such as Dr. Grace Augustine; A scientist, Dr. Norm Spellman; a biologist and an
old friend of Tommy, and Colonel Quatrich whom instructed him to spy on Dr. Augustine.
More importantly, he had used his Avatar and started the exploration on Pandora Moon. Dr.
Augustine aimed to win the hearts and minds of the natives through establishing a school
and teaching them the language of English.
One day while on an exploration Jake’s avatar was chased by a Thanator, a creature with a
strange speed. He then accidentally jumped on a waterfall and was driven in the territory of
the Na’vis. There he had met Neytiri, she could have killed him but instead saved his life as
she felt there is something different with Jake. There had been a sign from the seed of the
tree of souls. Jake was then brought to the hometree where most of the na’vi are, for
questioning. Resting on the hometree was the whole clan, including the Eytukan (clan
leader), Tsashik and Tsu’tey, one of the finest warriors whom Neytiri was betrothed to. Little
by little Jake learned the way of living such as riding a Direhorse and choosing his Ikran and
making a Tsaheylu, a bond where pandoran flora and fauna connects to each other
mentally. Dr. Augustine was able to keep Col. Quatrich away from Jake to avoid
manipulation. They had flown to floating mountains. Leaving his avatar body and returning
to his human form, Jake continued to spy on the Na’vi. He had gathered intel on them. It
them came to his knowledge, the richest deposit of Unobtanium lies within the tree where
the village is. He knew his mission and It was to drive the natives away from the home tree.
With the time span he spent living with the Na’vi he had developed a deeper affection for
them. Torn between love and mission. Jake was confused yet he knew he had love for
Neytiri, they mated for life. The troops begin the assault on the tree of souls. Jake was able
to damaged one of the bulldozer cameras, however Col. Quatrich was able to remember his
avatar. Getting a hold of it, He disconnected the figurative link progress to break Jake’s link
on the natives. The hometree came crumbling down, Neytiri’s father was among the
casualties, later dead because of how deep the sustained wounds are. The village was set
on fire, it was destroyed. Before Jake and Dr. Augustine’s avatar was disconnected, Jake
tried to explain what he knew about the plan, he felt sorry for it. Due to what happened, the
damage the attack caused, The na’vi disowned Jake. Jake and Dr. Augustine were locked-
up in a prison however they were able to escape with the help of an ex-marine pilot. In the
escape, Dr. Augustine was shot by Col. Quatrich however they landed safe.
