PERSONAL STATEMENT

TO: UNIVERSITY OF NORTHAMPTON ,

I am writing to express my utmost desire to pursue a Master's degree in Business Management at

your esteemed institution. I have recently made the decision to return to studying after a seven-year
gap since my graduation from the well-regarded University of Ibadan in Nigeria, where I obtained a
Bachelor's degree in Educational Management.

My interest in the management of both human and material resources has driven me to further my
knowledge in this field and make a significant contribution to the global management landscape.
Over the years, I have actively engaged in various projects and tasks, such as teaching children during
holidays to prepare them for school and serving as a class teacher, where I learned to effectively
manage students while imparting knowledge to them. Additionally, my experience as an
administrative assistant manager at the Alpha Mission International Prayer Garden has greatly
enhanced my skills in managing both human and material resources, extending my managerial
expertise beyond the confines of the school.

My decision to pursue further studies stems from a deep desire to deepen and broaden my
understanding of business management and resource management. Throughout my professional
journey, I have encountered complex issues that require a nuanced understanding and innovative
solutions. This has motivated me to seek advanced knowledge and research skills, which I believe the
Master's program at the University of Northampton can provide.

I am particularly drawn to the University of Northampton due to its esteemed faculty and cutting-
edge facilities. The opportunity to explore the world of work while acquiring the necessary skills for
the next level is extremely appealing to me. I am confident that the Master's program at your
institution will not only refine my skills but also expose me to diverse perspectives.
