Instrument Engineer is responsible to provide Engineering advice and support to maximize
the Operation's efficiency. Instrument Engineer conducts his job in a safe manner with maximizing field production efficiency while minimizing the total maintenance cost (production downtime, spare parts, man power, etc.) and meet daily production targets whilst complying with company guidelines and legal requirements.
Main responsibilities:
Manage the CMMS establishing requirements for Preventive, Corrective, Predictive
and On-condition Maintenance according to engineering analysis and providing technical follow up. Provide Instrument and Control Engineering support to operation and maintenance teams. Troubleshoot, Instrument equipment problems, plan repair and refurbishment work as required. Provide operations Instrument Engineering support to future field development. Participate in Root Cause Analyses for significant equipment failures Review and interpret standards and project documents to support the maintenance resolutions Demonstrate appropriate safety behaviors and commitment to environmental policies Ensure production activities are carried out in compliance with all relevant procedures and legal requirements Using experience and knowledge to lead investigation and rectifying operational problems. Ensure safe start up and shutdown of process facilities. Ensure that all operation tasks are carried out according to established Company policies, procedures and professional standards Ensure appropriate risk assessments are carried out for all maintenance activities, with particular attention to recognizing the impact of change. Apply the lessons learned from design reviews, receiving inspections, and risk management findings and support team performance by sharing knowledge and best practices. Ensure the confidentiality of the company’s documentation.
Requirements
University degree (BSc. or MSc.) in Electronics or Control engineering
Advanced user of MS Office Fluent knowledge of English language At least 10 years of Instrument and Control engineering experience (Oil & Gas Industry) High level of team working abilities
