application of AI in education and research?
Humans have evolved in so many years in so many ways, in all areas of life weather it is science,
human nature, philosophy, etc. Humans have achieved great heights in recent years, and has
changed the way this designed system works, in the recent few years one technology that changed
the future of humans is the advanced in existing technology “Artificial intelligence”. People are
working for the past 80 years on this technology. Alan Turing was the first man who put forward
the idea of artificial intelligence. And since then, we did not stop and we are still going….

In the current scenario the artificial intelligence is entering the all-possible field of life and trying to
make life easier. The fields such as agriculture, traffic, academics, researches, health care, robotics,
automation, finance etc. As the ai is developing, so concerns about it also increasing, how to
insure, that the technology I am using is safe for the society or not. Recently many cases have
been reported in which the face swap has been done using the ai and which leads to the danger to
our privacy.
Education and research both fields help to build better future of a country. AI has contributed a lot
for betterment of both fields which is really good thing but with positives there come negative as
well, so let’s discuss positives. Suppose a scenario where a person wants to start a school but due
to lack of fund, he can’t start it, but there is a use case of the artificial intelligence called as the
augmented reality in which the virtuality and the reality is mixed up together, so that person can
start virtual classes with the feel of classroom. Let’s talk with perspective of a student, 10 years
ago student take so log to gather knowledge for their projects and nowadays the things have
become bit easy, recently launched the AI chatbot has made accessibility of knowledge just one
command away, and a person can also ask for the simplified version and the ai will make simpler.
People preparing for exams are using these ai technology for better preparation. People
preparing for the interviews uses Artificial intelligence for mock interviews. All of the above things
can be done by ChatGPT.
Due to the positives, we cannot forget about the negatives which are coming with these
technologies let’s discuss them. Back then when a student used to have a problem then he used to
go through several books, to several teachers for their doubts. But due to ai the scenario has
changed a student can easily find the solution to the problem, which is leading to the lack of
patience and lack of usage of brain, back then it was not just finding solution of the problem but it
was exercise of the brain, which is diminishing after artificial intelligence. It is noticed that after
these technologies the average attention span of a person has reduced. Also not using brain
leading to less rational thinking and critical thinking, as all the thinking related works are being
done the Artificial intelligence. So, these are some negatives I see about artificial intelligence.
