Meet our
characters of
the story
Now let's first understand what
container is and then draw an
analogy from this story !
Containers are boxes that decouple
applications from underlying host
infrastructure so that you can deliver software
quickly
DOCKER

TOOLING AND
PLATFORM TO
easy in different cloud or OS environments
MANAGE
LIFECYCLE OF
CONTAINERS
Containers are lightweight and contain
everything to run an application , so you don't
need to rely on what is currently installed on
your host !
From the story ,
Magic Cloak is a container in which Ram (an
application) , and its environment(whiteboard, , table
with a light ,his books and noise cancelling headsets ) can
operate in a semi isolated manner to deliver s/w(crack
interview) ! Shyam and Charan are Host OS (quite
literally) and their homes are the underlying
infrastructure on which containers can be orchestrated
by Kubernetes ( more on this concept later !)
