Review Of <Hundred Thousand Whys>

I am Chen jiet Lim from SJK© Ave Maria

Convent, Ipoh. The title of my book is ‘Hundred Thousand

Whys’. It is writen in mandarin by sun ze jun from

China. The total pages of this book is 90.

When I was a child, I always asked my parents

the questions such as "Why the sky is blue?"

"Why the sea is salty ?"But With all kinds of weird

questions from me , most of the time they din’t know

where to find the best answer!

When I met this book, I was really attracted by

it’s beautiful pictures which are artistic, creative and

scientific and the text and graphics proportion is

carefully designed. It answers the real questions raised

by children, as well as knowledge points that keep pace

with the times, covering animals, creatures, universe,

ancient creatures, life, body, habits, safety dedicated to

cultivating children to establish a scientific way of

thinking and independent thinking; form good behavior

habits and establish rules and safety awareness,

coupled with lively and interesting illustrations, I feel it

is very suitable for me which can satisfy my curiosity

and is very worth reading.

It is such a magical book that has led me

into the world of science and obtained the first key to the

door of knowledge, allowing my thoughts to float from the

desk to the forest, the sea, and the entire universe as a

child.

Besides, this book can quickly occupy my

heart because its content is lively and interesting. The

selected questions are all very interesting questions, such

as "Why does a bicycle not fall when moving ?" Let as a

child my attention was drawn to me all at once, giving me

a feeling of fascination, ". Why haven't I thought about this

before?" Holding such a mentality makes me feel stunned.

Now I get the answer from this book, it is because of the

gyroscopic theory, where the spinning wheel provides

enough stability to stop the bike from falling. Further more,

The question ‘Why is a wok round ?’Let me learn that

round-bottomed woks distribute heat more evenly and

easier to use for stir-frying.

" Hundred Thousand Whys" brought me the joy of

reading at the very beginning, and let me begin to see the

beauty of reading. and it makes up for the shortcomings of

scientific education for me.
