Presentation

Hi everyone, today I will tell you some things about the

cheetah.
First of all, you can recognise them by their unique black
spots on their gold or yellow coats and are known for their
amazing speed. In a couple of seconds, they can be running
at their top speed, one hundred and twenty kilometres an
hour! But if they are running at that speed, they will get tired
very fast and they will have to slow down after about 30
seconds. At that speed they can easily get their pray. That’s
why they like dry and open grasslands where they can pick up
speed to kill pray. Most of the time they eat gazelles, but
they also eat impalas, hares and wildebeest calves. But in
some countries, they eat farm animals from farmers. When
they get their pray they start low on the ground, trying to
make no noise what so ever, and when they are close enough
they sprint towards the pray. But most of the time they fail
so they must try again a couple more times.
What they need there to survive is their sharp teeth and their
fur color. They need their sharp teeth to get their pray and
their fur color so that they can’t be seen from far away or
close by.
Most of the time the cheetah lives alone, or when they are
still young they live in a small group with his or her brothers
and sisters. A cheetah weighs about seventy-two kilograms
and gets about two or three kids. They live for about twelve
years.
This was my presentation, I hope you liked it.
